The Moutrie piano originated in England in 1856 as an affiliate of theCollard piano company. In 1890 its founder, William Moutrie, relocated thepiece and later assembling manufactories to China, in order to meet the demandsof the growing number of expatriates in the Far East. However, piano's piecesand his assembling manufactory stays until now still in England and Germany, inorder to grantee his European market and quality.

Historically, made around 1974 in England, bought in England as an anticpiano, from an old couple in 1991 around 11,000.00 BritishPounds. I immigrated and brought with myself to Canada around summer1996.
