这两天在家里很闷.前几天好像上网看到有人教滑冰,我有一双新冰鞋,但是从来没滑过,不知好不好学.
我有车,但是开车技术不太熟练,加上本人胆子也小,这么恶劣的天气加上这么差的路况,也不敢出门到处去.

alice，如果你也愿意开你的车去看风景的话。我们现在就可以召集人了，当然费用AA制。至于车技，我觉得我们去看风景，可以慢慢开（本人一年驾龄，但无加拿大的驾照，亦无雪地驾驶经验）。我觉得外面挺美。

Here is another proposal for your information...
The theme for Christmas may be: delicious foods, natural sightseeing, mad-driving entertainment.
Schedule is as below.
Dec 24
6:00pm to 10:00pm
Gather together at 6:00pm for a Dinner under the Candles. 6-10 people, everybody brings a dish, either made by him/herself or ordered from outside, the dinner will be accompanied by soft music, violin or guitar player is preferred at the beginning. With the dinner going on the music can be switched to pop songs. Some simple games can be played during the dinner to get everybody know each other well. The cost for each person will be $8.00-$10.00 including dishes and red wine (asset).
10:00pm to 2:00am (Dec 25)
After the dinner it is better to go to a Pub, either Disco Pub or Rock & Roll. R & R Pub is preferred as Disco music will be too soft for Christmas Eve. Information of the bars can be found in the previous posts. Cost per person is approx. $8.00 including one bottle of beer.
Dec 25
10:00am to 6;00pm
Outside skiing at $75.00/person
6:00pm to 9:00pm
Hot pot is preferred after skiing with cost of $8.00/person including beer and red wine.
9:00pm to 1:00am (Dec 26)
Movie: The Return of The King at $15.00/person incl. Popcorn and Coca.
Dec 26
8:00am to 4:00pm
Shopping with Buffet (All you can eat) for lunch at $12.00/person.
4:00pm to 8:00pm
Making Dumplings together @ $5.00/person
8:00pm to 12:00am
Karaoke @ 15.00/person
Dec 27
Ice skating in Old Montreal...
Swimming in the late afternoon with Sauna
DVD night...

For skating, you can try either of the following (at the Bell Amphitheatre, I think that they also rent helmets).:

There is also an Imax theatre at the Old Port & they have a science museum that is supposedly interesting.
The advantage of the Bell Atrium is that it is warmer & indoors; they also have a food court right beside the skating rink.
Call before you go; they may have special hours over the holidays.
For a day trip, you may consider a drive up into the Laurentians to Mont Tremblant; they may have package deals for
beginners. Even if you don't ski, it is nice to walk around there & the countryside is beautiful; take a ride on the gondola
to the top & look around).
If the weather isn't nice, you can take-in a movie downtown. There are two nicer theatres there; one is the
Paramount (Metro Peel or Metro McGill) & the other is the AMC Cinemas at the Pepsi Forum (Metro Atwater).

真的不好意思,这两天我白天老是上不了网.所以也没有看到大家的贴子.
我当然愿意开车出去玩了,但是这种天气和路况不宜出远门的.我在中国已有三年驾龄(不经常开),在这也有二年驾龄,但是天生胆小,这种天气还是不敢到处跑,所以如果我们组织一下打牌(打麻将),下棋,聚餐,游泳,滑冰,逛商店等.当然如果有更好的节目,大家也可以出出主意.作者: 迷胡 时间: 2003-12-23 20:32
