I just found the same web page (but it took me many hours) and I was about to delete my post. And I found out that you answered my question already.

It is amazing that the girl who did not know what was RRSP (because she asked me what was it) and told me that it counts as income.

So everybody should not take their words for it and should find out a fine print of the rules.  It is especially important as they are making changes to the rules this year.

And Thank you again, netsino. Thank you for your help and your expertise advises to the others.

I am sure that RRSP withdrawal and rental income were not considered as income before.  It was clearly written on their guide.

But when I call the 1-888-643-3750 number, the girl told me that RRSP withdrawal is considered as other income (the financial aid officer at my school said that she is sure that RRSP withdrawal is not considered as income, I guess she read the the same guide I read before).

Anybody knows where to get a definite answer to this question?  Many thanks.

No, I do not think so.

另外bursary的award year是从什么时候开始计算的？
For this year is from May 04 to August 05.

如2004 award year 是指2004年的1月-12月，还是指2004年9月-2005年9月？
For the bursary awarded, a final adjustment will be made around October every year. At that time, you have to file a declaration of actual situation;
adjustments will be made to your L/B if the situation is changed. For example, if your income is increased, if your interest is more than you reported,etc.

1) i have a partime job, my income will over 5000$.
From 0-5,000 you income is only count partially for contribution;
any amount over 5,000 will be deducted 100%.

2) If you are studying at the college, you still can have full L/B, because you do not have to pay tuition. When you go for study at university level, you have to prepare to take up over $3,000 extra as your loan portion.

3) If you can have a part time job, you better keep it. We are not sure whether the L/B will be changed again in 2005? May be there will be no more bursary next year....who knows!

i study at a college, i get the basic loan 3000$,  and i have a partime job, my income will over 5000$  i am married and i have a baby, my wife also studies and get LB, for the full LB, sould i stop working?  thank u!

I am not sure about Vanier college, because I am a university student.

2) 听说有的学校学期满了会退，不知这样的学校是哪个？
Yes, all university here will give you a refund for resident fee if you qualified.

3) 我是联邦移民，9月29满三个月居住。
