An import/export company recruit an accounting manager:

Responsibilities:

Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, G/L, Cost Accounting and Revenue recognition for multiple companies.2 i7 Y9 _ `1 D
Monitor and record financial transactions according to company policies and regulations, provide guidance to AR, AP, Payroll and other accountant/bookkeeper when needed.

Lead and coordinate the budgeting/forecasting process and report project cost variances

Manage and comply with reporting requirements for tax credits and filings

Prepare internal financial statement timely according to bank loan reporting requirement1 Z9 Q( s( R; }
Perform month-end accounting activities such as reconciliations and General Ledger Journal entries.

Qualifications:

have a recognized accounting designation - CGA, CMA, CA or CPA
B8 v$ d& F. B: w9 m
5+ years in a similar role in an import/export company/ s/ ?. B6 E: V2 i- }* x
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
1 s6 P- g+ x1 ]* Q9 n' x
Strong computer skills especially in MS Office # U* y8 v; f3 K# n- G3 G. P
Working knowledge of accounting software (Acomba or ERP system)

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

Strong planning and organizational skills

Speak Fluently French and English
