- Manage Windows and Linux servers for infrastructure, user services, and production telecom network.
( G, l: k' l5 |5 S$ Y - Support of internet facing infrastructure (HTTP, DNS, SMTP, FTP)/ W; w' [% ?" p" r
- Managing virtual servers# j6 s6 Z2 C' z8 Z" X4 _& s
- Monitoring of servers and processes q. _% n; ^! l, `; v( x
- Managing of Micro Soft Active Directory accounts.
* u6 A6 Z6 I3 [" C! j$ e) d* I1 A5 \ F - Support for local station issues as well as some remote branch support3 w+ B8 L+ u% l1 K; ~
- Implementing best security practices
& E6 W H0 S `0 q - Troubleshooting server/workstation issues: M/ \& C( W. \9 U, I) l, ~
- Back up architecture and disaster recovery planning& E6 F6 {) \) x
- IT architecture design and decisions- H0 W8 T0 N7 T. [" k* [
9 B. r% ]7 j3 `/ C% F/ r! {
* ]1 O2 }# B3 Z2 k* A5 BQualifications:
8 q! `$ L2 k& b. h" B/ n+ b) F7 S
4 G' T3 } [: N+ a* z P - 3-5 years’ experience working with Windows and Linux
2 ]: k4 H' ]' O2 s X4 L4 g - Knowledge of related services such as DNS, HTTP, SMTP and FTP8 Z2 _: E; B5 t0 `' X& S9 b
- Knowledge of Linux based firewalls and networking( y/ [" E6 W+ t9 }4 H- J+ P
- Experience with Micro Soft Active directory and Micro Soft SQL% S, h* i/ R8 e( [1 B
- Advanced Knowledge of TCP/IP and related Internet Protocols/ Y5 x/ `- y7 S4 N& a2 K0 x
- Scripting experience (Bash, Perl), D$ j" g1 \& q7 ~ _
- Knowledge of SAN/NAS an asset(Dell Compellent, QNAP). e: x6 m* J4 d
- Knowledge of Xen virtual clustering environment an asset.1 g/ K# F( U/ |, u7 I' o
- Broad understanding of IT architectures and technologies6 |4 o w7 w6 W: T' m7 D
- Good interpersonal communications skills and a strong team player

- Good verbal and written communications skills: P5 j9 Z6 x+ @; ^: p
- Spanish an asset
