Metro Papineau :-

Another good vantage point is from the foot of the Jacques Cartier Bridge on the Montréal side of the St. Laurent river.

Take the metro to Papineau and walk to the junction of Rue Notre Dame and Avenue De Lorimier. There is a good view of the river from here.

This is easy to find since there will be many other people heading in that direction on firework evenings.

去年我是坐黄线地铁到IIE STE_HELENE，而后坐专线BUS到116公路桥下，那里有个小HILL，很多人坐在哪里看。如果你能上到116公路桥上看更好。桥上人很多(车不让过)。希望今年也是如此。GL！

经实地考察，免费看焰火最好的地方是绿线papieau地铁站的铁桥上，走到铁桥的中部，离岛上的湖比较近，焰火就在湖里放。在桥上可以很清楚的观看焰火燃放全景，而且可以听到音乐伴奏和感受焰火的震撼。上周六上桥观看者可能有上万人。
本周六是中国和香港的焰火，大家一起上桥啊。

有收音机的可带上, 音乐及音乐与焰火的配合都是参评的内容. 上次在桥下隔岸观火靠音响比较近感觉就不错.
比较发烧的行头是折叠椅+收音机+耳机, 再早点去找个好地儿, 味道一定好极了 :p

除了一段“男儿当自强”（香港岛岛歌）曲子有那么一点香港味以外，基本上全是大陆人的活儿。

不过也是，让一个文化沙漠整文化性这么强的东西也真难为他们了。

我看海报上都是写的Hong Kong/China, 理解成中国/香港联队更合适吧，从哪知道的是中国的香港队呢？

和上周的法国焰火相比，中国的焰火更显大气：火花大，声音响，花样也多。但是，美中不足的是，安排的好象有些虎头蛇尾，就那么草草地结素了。观众本来在表演中期时反应极热烈的，但结尾时却反响平平。

我到是怀疑结尾时是否出现了技术故障，以致于火焰与音乐脱节，火花表现单调。

我上周是给法国焰火拍了照的，今天由于仓促，未带宝贝相机，下周可不能再忘了。

各位对焰火的感受如何呢？

Before reading the above information,
I didn't know that
there was so much more to firework display
than just some "bright lights in the sky".
It seems that in order to fully appreciate it,
the music is a big part of it.
I am told that a radio station will broadcast the music during firework presentation.
It might be a good idea to bring along a radio
next time you go to watch the firework.
I don't know which radio station plays it
but if any one of you know, please post your answer here.

Apparently there WAS a technical problem
during the final minutes of the Hong Kong, China display.

So, a magnificent entry from the Chinese team from Hong Kong, designed by local artificier Patrice Guy.

I thought it was a very strongly themed display with a good range of intense and also serene momements. These are important in that they give the audience time to catch their collective breath.

The choreography was very well done with superb synchronization to the music - particularly the segment when sequenced lines of comets were fired in time to music on a harp - the lines of the comets visually representing the strings of the harp. The choice of music was also very well done and got an A+ from everyone I spoke to afterwards.

Many very beautiful shells, particularly the multi-splitting crossette stars and the broccade clusters, really filling the sky. A pity the last minute of the finale had a technical problem, but this didn't detract from a magnificent display.

I heard some people say it was the best choreographed displayed they ever seen so much kudos to Patrice for an outstanding effort.

Finally, mention must be made of the Raddiena lovingly hand crafted by Toni Busittil and his son Clint. An amazing amount of work and a unique item never seen before in Montreal. Great work indeed!

The best view is from the bridge:
not only you can enjoy the view on both side of the bridge, you enjoy the thrilling playground of the LaRond,you also enjoy the kisses of the winds and smoke; if you are happy,you'll cry loud to wake up the stars, if not,you can throw your heart to the flowering river deep down.

在桥上观看焰火，从LA RONDE传出来的音乐，仿如湖面上随风而来的淡淡荷香，时隐时现。固最好还是自己带收音机的好。
收音机的频道，我不清楚。如果选择上桥观看，可以即时收索，应该不难。

好象是第一次, "看"见了那些激扬的旋律, 不管是匈牙利舞曲,还是意大利歌剧....激动的俺不行不行的.
这就是永远充满激情的意大利, 那个国度除了火热的意大利之夏, 还有其他季节吗? wink

今天的意大利焰火大家觉得怎样？

我感到这是迄今这3场中最成功的。火焰设计的非常精致，该宏大的地方够大气，该典雅的地方够雅致。

特别是配乐，给我印象非常深。现在仍能记得那段《匈牙利舞曲第5号》，火花与音乐的配合简直完美极了！还有紧接下来的一段巴洛克，别致精巧，火焰也是平和稳定，美！

人家说意大利的女人像水，意大利的男人也像水，原来意大利的焰火也像水，噗哧噗哧的。除了结尾那两段，并没有什么特别出彩的地方。只是因为蒙特利尔意大利人多，硬是拉出了一些稀稀拉拉的掌声。这个音乐，拿几个世界名曲凑合在一起，谁敢说不好。但是焰火并没有跟音乐结合得很好，焰火编排的比较凌乱。

其实，音乐与烟火结合的最好的是去年的奥地利，而且有他们的民族特色，香港的音乐没有选好，但是和焰火的配合相当不错，估计最后收关的时候出技术故障了，所以收尾比较“阳春白雪”，这不是中国人放焰火的习惯。

昨天恰巧背个包，包里有收音机，匈牙利舞曲和烟火的完美组合，那种感觉真的无与伦比。
建议大家下次看的时候带上音响效果最好的收音机，频率是FM107。30Hz
用中文我真的找不到哪个词语可以形容昨天晚上的美妙，有谁能发现更好的形容词吗？

如果把今晚的焰火比做蔬菜，配乐比做沙拉酱。阿根廷的焰火就十足地象一份西洋的蔬菜沙拉了：

各种蔬菜横竖砍上 n 刀，丢进一个大盆子里，然后用一至两种味道近似的沙拉酱调和之，就可上桌了。

你吃起来会感到个色菜品都尝到了，不过是在同一种味道的酱中浸出的滋味。各种菜削的大小和形状都不同，参差不齐。不过好东西总会留到盆底，比如块大的蔬菜和所有剩下的、还有滋味的沙拉酱。

The best FREE spot is at the end of the parking lot. You may miss some lower firework but the big one just upon your head.

The second one is the middle of the bridge.

Papineau河边也是一个很好的去处. 正对La Ronde, 虽是隔岸观火, 却能看到全局和大的构图. 低中高空不同层次的演变齐收眼底(可惜最低的看不到). 若要摄像或拍照这儿更是一好地儿, 比较容易拿到好的构图, 特别是最后高潮部分百花齐放的时候.
还有一个好处就是不用太提早去. 提前十分钟到Papineau地铁站随人流遛哒到河边就能赶个正好.

昨晚又着实Happy了一把！澳大利亚的开局就出人意料的好，于是也就迅速地High了起来并一路High下去直到结束才长吁一口气。爽！

也才发现狂轰滥炸固然壮观，持续的点射也很动人！特别是在你已经有些High的时候。当然花儿要够大够亮，尤其是声儿要够响－在夜空里就那样孤单而执著甚至有些偏执地爆鸣着，绽放着－一下, 一下, 一下,又一下...仿
佛一种绝望但依然坚定的表白-眼前的缤纷已成幻影, 只觉着心被一下下撞击着, 震撼着, 颤栗...

来吧，乘着那音乐的翅膀, 在一只只焰火的助推下, High! High!

射击持续了近35分钟，弹道醒目，枪炮声烈，硝烟遮月！
