Ourcompany is specializing in import & export of Aluminum products. We are actively looking for an experienced SupplyChain Manager to join our team in the Aluminum trading industry.

Job Description:
The SupplyManager will be accountable for all direct supplier management, ensuringQuality, Cost and delivery targets. Work with the operations management toidentify and then act upon areas of improvement within production. Manage allmaterial flow from supplier to end use, from finish goods to delivery ofcustomer

Responsibilities:
- Budgetary and managerial responsibility for all Supply Chain function
- Develop and implement as necessary a continuous improvement environment in conjunction with our operational management team
- Manage planning, procurement, quoting process and sales teams
- Manage all component procurement ensuring product sourced is fit for use and adheres to company quality guidelines
- Supervise and train employees to achieve company objectives
- Represent the organization on collaborative HQ Supply Chain and Strategic Sourcing Initiatives
- Ensure planning initiatives are supported
- Responsible for supplier management and warranty claims
- Ensure achievement of Supply Chain Targets as specified
- Coordinate relevant Operations team activities Technicians / Engineering / Supply Chain as required to meet specified targets

Qualifications:
- MBA Degree or equivalent experience * Work Experience
- Minimum 2 years’experience working at a senior level in production and purchasing for at least 2 years
- Aluminum and metal industry is an asset
- Should have Procurement experience in the raw materials used for Aluminum & Steel rolling mills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to manage teams
- Project-based experience is an asset
- Broad Understanding of Aluminum, Quality Systems and Supply Chain in an Aluminum environment
- Ability to formulate purchasing strategies
- P&L and budget management experience
- Experience of introducing modern purchasing techniques
- Bilingual French and English Chinese is an Asset
- Team player, structured, detailed, flexible, strategic thinker
- Extensive travel within Canada and internationally may be required
