Job description Accountant/Bookkeeper- Paramount or else:

J.Y.C AUTO INC is a family-run leadingCanadian business with over 34 years in the worldwide export of vehicles acrossthe world for corporate or private clients.

Our head office is in Mont-Royal near the famousGibeau Orange Julep restaurant and De la Savane metro station.

We are presently looking for a bookkeeper to assistwith the daily running activities of our Head office.

The bookkeeperwill be responsible for:

·Bookkeeping for various accounts

·Reconcile ledger accounts on a monthly basis with the necessary documents

·Prepare bank reconciliation on monthly basis

·Prepare and record all required journal entries

·Prepare and file GST and QST reports

·Prepare monthly reports for bank

·Prepare the annual financial statements

·Prepare required documents for year-end audit

· Filingyear end information return (T4A, T5, etc. )

Requirements:

Required:Accounting and bookkeeping skills and 2 or more years related work experiencerequired.

Required:Knowledge of SAGE 50 Accounting program and MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Essential:Simply Accounting, Excel, Word, Outlook, Tax prep (asset)

Important:Autonomy & ability to work under pressure

Important:Fluent in English & French

Workexperience in car dealership is an asset

The schedule is Monday to Fridayfrom 9:00 to 5:00pm.

Due to the actual situation, we requestall employees to wear a mask.

Compensation commensurate to experience. Thefinalist will be interviewed in person at the Head Office by the Controller andthe HR Manager .
