我表妹想当护士，但她是乙肝病毒携带者，一直是小三阳，肝功能正常，学习和生活都和正常人一样，也很少生病，请问可以从事护士这一行业吗？能否通过体检？会不会对以后的工作有影响？非常希望大家能给予帮助。谢谢！

By the way, now in China, it is impossible for
HBV positive person to entering medical univ.
Although there are still many HBV clinical staff,
if you have already in this field, no one can
lay you off, but for new comers, it is sad.

In Mcgill University's Medical student administration booklet, it said you can not
be HBV positive, I noticed it about 2 years ago.
Do not entering into it unless you are sure
you can find a job with HBV positive.

入學和實習不一樣.
入學不必身體檢查. 但是在實習時要抽血檢驗: TB, HBV, HCV,...

其實通常universal precaution is enough to prevent horizontal transmission. 就這樣了. 如果要更多請自己跟學校討論.

Yes. This is required for any students entering the clinical phase of the studies. But physical examination and health status papers are not required for admission. So, go ahead. Apply and wish you good luck.

非常高兴有人回复，万分感谢！我在网上查了很久，一直没有找到学nursing对于身体的明确要求，能告诉我网址或者说通过什么途径我可以找到第一手资料？
另外，我们在algongguin介绍nursing programming的小册子上看到这样一句话：A completed Health Record including immunization status will be required prior to clinical pratice. 这是我唯一找到的关于体检的陈述。但我不知道这个immunization status和乙肝是否有关。
还有test里是否包括关于乙肝的检查，需要抽血吗？谢谢！

Are you sure? Check it again or post the internet link. I am in medical field but no medical paper was required when applying. During the clinical years, they simply ask you to submit yourself to some tests. Please check again.
