According to a story in 经历加国——记录枫叶之国生活历程中的心情感受.
" Most of the CS Chinese Student graduated from Concordia can not find job"
Is that really true?

of course, now is the down turn for IT market. No one knows when it will pick up again. As well, so many well skilled IT professionals with very very strong working background got laid off from telecommunication sector. It's definitely hard for new grads.
One thing to remember also is that tooo many new Chinese immigrant switched their fields to CS or some other IT related certificates. It's really a wrong choice now!
- most of them cannot speak "good" English, so many IT consulting positions are not available to them.
- one-year or two-year training is totally not enough. how can you compete with other guys who enjoyed computer games since they were 10.
- because of IT booming in recently years, more and more local smart people choose CS in the university. They are definitely taking advantage of that. (age, skills, degree, language)
- New immigrants don't have related working experience in Canada
Maybe it was a wise choice to switch to CS 5 years ago. But according to this market right now not like two years ago(abnormal period), demand and supply is converging the equilibrium level just like OTHER Job markets.
DOUBLE THINK WHEN YOU WANT TO SWITCH to CS. If just for finding a job, then please forget about it.

oh, really? Job market is at really tough time for poor CS students, but still you can get job offers just like any other majors. I think NO need to be too sensitive. Two of my classmates got near 60K job offers in Montreal. another one also got 60K but in US dollar in Boston. They are all in bachelor level, graduating this year.
Keep cool
