标题: 一个美国人眼里的中国女性
TIM，是我一个学语言的美国朋友，美国名校硕士毕业，在美国PORTLAND 市一家临床心理治疗中心做医生兼管理者。

经历3次婚姻，去年和一个年龄相仿的带着15岁孩子的一个中国女性结婚。

这是他写给我的EMAIL，我认为是他真实的看法。

I hope things are well. You went on a trip? To the mainland? Where will you go? Wherever it is, I hope you have a happy New Year!

I miss you...

I am quite the happy boy. If not just for my wonderful wife Ru, but my select Chinese friends like you. I love your culture, your homeland, and I love the brilliant and great Chinese woman. She is unlike any other woman--with her caring, grace, and way that she gives to a man. I must tell you it is refreshing to know this first hand. My lovely wife Ru embodies this tradition, and all the women of China fill the world with it too; and for this if the West were to ever fully appreciate--if men were to fully appreciate--I can only say that the world would be a better place because it is filled with your love-- Oh Chinese woman!
Have a happy time always! I think of you with great smiles and symphonic and harmonious joy!

Boy do I know these things. I am trying to get into an apartment after I have not rented one on my own for many years. It is a challenge and costing me plenty.

You are right -- about what you said once. My wife is not especially pleased with our financial picture. She is coming here and would be happier I think if I were rich. Of course I understand that security is very important to someone coming here for the first time and her feeling that she might have a hard time finding a job.

Yet our business is doing better and she often makes money directly from my efforts there.

So I do not know what to say. A few times she has been very frustrated with me...

You know I am not the rich person like this.

Sometimes I wish to just move to China--she of couse does not say anything when I say that. She is convinced that things are so well here economically. I try to tell her it is expensive.

Well it will be fine . I am stressed. She does not know but I spent six hours in Emergency Room on Monday with chest pain.

I enjoy your last message so very much. It was very helpful. I did not see it until later and have not been able to respond because all of my children have been here for a visit. As you may know it is a holiday here in the US.
So sorry I did not reply sooner!

It is very nice letter and helped me a lot. Both me and ultimately, my wife appreciate it!

These helpful ideas borne out of your own experience are valuable--very valuable. I appreciate your sharing of them.

Thank you , they are a wonderful gift in return for my writing and editing help! But beyond that , is your sweet friendship! Absolutely priceless and very valuable!

Of course I am interested in and able to respond to questions and concerns, or comments, that you might have about the healthcare system...
