I showed her about 10,000CAD. I have no ideal how much you should have for min. I recall I bring the Doc as below:
1. letter from bank
2. CSQ
3. Passport and landing paper.
4. For in case , bring a bill with your name and current address, such as Hydro Quebec or Bell Canada,just for in case.

I do belive you can bring a statement with you. That's Ok. It's just a normal procedure.
BTW: You get a letter from your bank. Bank charge you some money? talk to your bank and ask them to do it for you for free. Everytime my bank want to change me some fee, I talked to them and ask them do it for free. If they don't ,you should switch to other bank.
