If you buy it in Canada, depends on the seller's policy, may ask for tax, may not. If buy a new DC in US, you would be charged around 15% tax, sometimes, the carrier (e.g., UPS) also charges you money. So, my experience is: avoid to buy new staff out of canada on eBay.
