1. taste: 4 types of papilla on the tongue. There are 3 tastes buds (I think, can't remember).
2. deglutition (swallowing): places the food on the top of the dentition for chewing and propels the bolus into the oropharynx.
3. phonation.
4. kissing... (I mean french kissing). Jk.
