标题: Which do you choose for immigration: Pleasure or Pain?
Have you chosen pleasure or pain when you made your decision of immigration to Canada?
According to Subjective Expected Utility (Dr. Herbert A. Simon, the representative psychologist of this theory), the goal of human action is to seek pleasure and to avoid pain. When someone makes a decision, they will choose to maximize their pleasure and minimize the pain.
Do you agree that     your decision that the whole family immigrated to Canada proves this theory?

标题应该用WHAT,不是用WHICH

英语还没到那个程度就别整天卖弄,电脑上有中文输入就还是用中文吧。

CHINGLISH看得很恶心

When someone makes a decision, they will choose to maximize their pleasure and minimize the pain.

楼主英语是有些问题,可俺咋就没看出来他是在卖弄尼?要是卖弄,那肯定应该是写出一段臭拽的英语才对,谁会写一些问题百出的呀。所以,俺琢磨一般大家写英语大多是因为没中文输入啥的。就尽量宽待着点吧。再说了,gamblelife 你指出来的人家标题的错,依俺看也没错到哪去,比方说: 1) which one do you prefer, A or B ?  2) which one will you choose, A or B ? 上面两句俺觉得都是正确的英语。楼主的标题与上面第二句相近,俺不觉得有太大的错误。另外gamblelife您老提到托福,那跟能写出和说出正确的英语是两回事。俺见过不少TOEFL和GRE高分的,能写出一手和说出一口让人吐的英语。俺也见过在北美呆了十年的还说一口二百五英语的。刚来这里英语有错不怕,敢说敢练,就不怕不进步。

Never be shy to speak English with mistakes?

gamblelife, you are welcome to find mistakes in the above short statement.

靠,怎么有人那么闲啊,居然我还成“您老”了。

我随口说个语法错误,而且是那么明显的弱智错误,只要写的人重新读一遍就可以发现。如果说要提高英语水平,写完了东西自己看都不看一遍就发上来恶心人,要提高英语水平的人是这态度?

这种人的态度还有人赞扬,那大家就继续乱说乱写吧,GOOD GOOD STUDY, DAY DAY UP。

楼下那个语法专家,看看你的句型和标题是否一样再说吧。which one do u choose 是用得很顺,但我实在没听过(看过)“which do u choose” 的, 你觉得“which do u choose” 比 “what do u choose” 好?

--Live and learn.
live and learn 你知道人家楼主说的是啥意思吗?整明白了你再到这来指导。我再再靠!

to Gamblelife:
the purpose of language is for commuication which convey message most people can understand ,not perfect error-free grammer. Here in canada ,the major obstacle to your career is English. Why you're so offensive to use English? You know famous idiom(forgive me ,I said it's idiom)"too navie ,too simple"? which is  part of "3 x" theory. You know that?Do you know what does it mean by "3 x" theory? sure ,you don't . let me tell you :MENG SHENG DA FA CAI.haha!

我觉得楼主的英语很标准,根本没问题.不信?你去问问你在魁大或蒙大或任何其他地方的语法老师.
另外, 我觉得楼主的本意并非是讨论英语学习的,细读其题意就可知了.
不过,我还是在这免费教一下which的用法及与what的区别:
1)WHICH can be used as an interrogative determiner(疑问限定词):
e.g. Which way is quicker -- by bus or by train?
Which languages did you study at school?
(Source: Oxford Advanced Learner's Dictionary, p.1454)

2)WHICH can be used as an interrogative pronoun(疑问代词):
e.g. Which is your favorite subject?
Here are the chairs. Tell me which is worth buying.
(Source: Oxford Advanced Learner's Dictionary, p.1454)
     Which do you want?
(Source: Longman Contemporary English-Chinese Dictionary, p.1613)
     Which do you prefer?
(A Practical English Grammar by Zhang DaoZhen, p.72)

3)WHICH can be used as a relative determiner(关系限定词):
e.g. The postman comes at 6:30 in the morning, at which time (i.e. when) I am usually fast asleep.
(Source: Oxford Advanced Learner's Dictionary, p.1454)

4)WHICH can be used as a relative pronoun(关系代词):
e.g. Take the book which is lying on the table.
A house which overlooks the park will cost more.
Read the passage to which I referred in my talk.
(Source: Oxford Advanced Learner's Dictionary, p.1454)
There are still many difficulties ahead which we must not overlook.
(A Practical English Grammar by Zhang DaoZhen, p.72)

Note On Usage: Compare the use of WHICH and WHAT as determiners and pronouns in the questions.

WHICH refers to one or more members of a limited group:
e.g. Which car is yours?/Which is your car? The Ford or the Volvo?

WHAT is used when the group is not so limited:
e.g. What are your favorite books?

When we are referring to people, we often use WHICH even if the choice is not restricted:
e.g. Which/What actors do you admire most?

(Source: Oxford Advanced Learner's Dictionary, p.1454)

When someone makes a decision, they will choose to maximize their pleasure and minimize the pain.

eek!            eek!            eek!
