This resturant is not exactly in downtown,
more like next to downtown.
It is located in the old Montreal area,near the river.
This restaurant offers a regular menu on weekdays,
but provides buffet on Sunday.
The choices are relatively limited
but the quality is quite good,
especially the desserts.
The buffet costed $15 in my last visit.

From their web site:

Our famous Sunday Brunch offers you an extravagant array of food
in abundance. The Restaurant du Vieux Port Brunch has something
for everybody, including omelettes prepared to your liking at the Breakfast section, an elaborate selection of salads, made from the freshest ingredients, poached salmon, Prime Roast Beef, chicken, pasta, seafood, cheeses and fruit, and a vast selection of desserts.
Our Brunch is available every Sunday from 10 AM to 3 PM.

西餐buffet真的是没什么好吃的，在downtown的我不知道，就知道在cote de liese上的holiday inn里的西餐buffet还不错，而且环境优雅，还有live band.

I like vichy near the end of green metro. Not bad.
