标题: Engine check warning light 亮了
我的车是98年的TOYOTA,去年Engine check warning light 亮了，到CT检查，说是传感器的问题，花了257CAD。这个周日Engine check warning light 又亮了，机油没有问题，也没有发现什么异常。这两天没有开车，一直停在那里。查看了一下各位大侠以前发的贴子，受益非浅。有两种观点：一是忽视它，不会有什么问题；另一种说法，因为此事掉以轻心而报废发动机的事并不罕见。不知如何是好？

I think you better check it out what is the problem, because there are many reason can cause Check Engine Light on. After that, then you decide what you want to do, leave it like that or fix it.

楼主居然敢去加拿大轱辘，真是佩服啊，其中一家被誉为BLACK SHEEP,连续多年乱修一气。
我的CHECK ENGINE灯也亮过，一般没有问题，很有可能是油箱盖没盖好，去检查检查然后关了就是了。

我的engine light 也亮了，去用scanner检查，没查出什么来，把电源关了从开了一遍就不亮了，花了5$.

CHECK灯亮，去读码结果如下：Code de scan: P0441-EVAP SYSTEME INCORRECT PURGE FLOW; P0446-EVAP VENT CONTROL MALFONCTION.　哪位朋友知道怎样解决这两个问题吗，多谢！

Code P0 441 is related to the purge valve under-hood. Mounted next to the w/s washer reservoir. Disconnected vacuum lines are common, remove reservoir & inspect. IF all are connected then MOST likely the valve is defective.

去修车行检查，他们说是油箱盖没盖严，不需要处理，跑两天会自动关闭。开了近百公里，CHECK灯还是亮的。又去车行，他们RESET一下COMPUTOR，CHECK灯灭。两天后，CHECK灯又亮了。

最好去Toyota dealer查一下,我刚做过类似问题维修,花了好些钱,专业技师说若不修或许某一天发动机彻底报废,也许他言过其实,不过我还是修了。

这么多sensor，不知道大家是不是指的都是同一个呢？

if u use a product of an american company, u do not need change the sensor. it just cost u $30, and also save ur fuel.so,actually it does not cost u any money.

that is right!!!
the best way to deal with this problem is to use FFi product for one month .that product can save ur fuel and reduce carbon build-up,as a result, clean the sensor.(i saw somebody clean sensor for $200-300, it's naive)
after that, if it does not work, u should go to repair it.
yes, if u like, go to check the code first.
