I am also going to change my Ontario driver's license to Quebec's, but I still don't have Quebec's Helth Card. Could you tell me how to apply Quebec's helth card? I just called SAAQ today asking about how to change driver's license and car plate from Ontario to Quebec. Here is the information I got:
Change car plate:
1. Do a safety check first. Around $60.
2. Bring the safety check certificate from Quebec;
Bring registration form from Ontario(show your car's ownership);Bring your Ontario's driver's license;Bring another ID, such as passport. Bring $220 to buy the plate.
Change driver's license:
1.Bring your Ontario driver's license; Bring your passport;Bring your landing paper;Bring some letters your got every month at your new place, such as letters from banks. This is to prove that you are living here.

I didn't ask about the "Six monthes" requirement thing because it won't be a problem for me. But I did ask about the SUN card. I was told that SUN card was not necessary while replacing the car plate and driver's license as long as those other documents were ready.作者: DieHard 时间: 2003-7-22 13:13
