标题: 修车上当, 想找回公道 [打印本页] 作者: rtz 时间: 2004-1-10 20:32 标题: 修车上当, 想找回公道 I had my Mazda 626 car’s transmission rebuilt last September through路坚汽车维修. Since they could not do it, they gave me a quotation and subcontracted to Ratio Transmission.
This January, such transmission found leaking in 4 places (seals, hose, and the place where they patched at the bottom of the transmission case). I went to 2 places to check before I had it repaired. It’s suspected that they put on a second hand transmission instead of doing rebuild. Tuesday, Jan 6, I asked them to re- do rebuild which they were supposed to do in last September, they agreed. 4 days waiting, –30 to –40 temperatures, my little kid could not go to daycare and had to stay at home with me, my life and daily schedule were highly affected. It also caused me a lot of stress because of their bad attitude.
Friday, Jan 9, 2004, they returned my car with what they said they had fixed the transmission oil leaking but they did not re-do rebuild.
This morning, Jan 10, I found out that the antifreeze (green one) now is leaking, and they added too much transmission oil than it is needed. There are two other places which I can not see clearly under the engine are leaking, may be some other hidden problems which I am not aware.
Although I am very busy every day, I won’t neglect their cheating and bad business behaviours like this. I’m going to take legal action to claim what I have lost, also I want to tell all of you this case to alert you to be careful next time when you go to 路坚汽车维修and Ratio Transmission. I need friends advises on the following questions:
1. Transmission oil almost double, see from the line, will it be harmful to my transmission?
2. Is there anyway I can find out if those people intended to break things in my car? Does any one know in Montreal if there’s an authorized place could do this kind of inspection and have a legal effect for my future use on the court? Or do I just simply call the police?
3. Is there an authorized and professional place to check if they used second hand transmission in my car? I was told they were not supposed to patch when they rebuild transmission, is it true?
4. Can anyone of you advise me a cheaper and quicker place to sue them?

I happened to be in 路坚汽车维修(LJ) on the morning of Jan 9. Here is the story I know:
The client asks LJ to repair her car’s transmission last year. LJ called out a transmission mechanic from another garage (RT) to test the car. The client discussed the detail with the transmission mechanic, agree to let RT repair her car, and obtained a warranty from RT. I believe this is not a subcontract as the client deal directly with RT, which fixed her car’s transmission. The role of LJ is to introduce the mechanic to the client. As well, the client is holding a warranty paper from RT. Of course, the client has the right to sue who ever she wants, but please makes the distinction between who is responsible for fixing your car, and do not confuse / misleading readers.
About who has bad attitude, I saw the following:
1. The client was talking on the phone (to staff in Ratio Transmission) and said: “[you fix my car] I don’t want to see your face anymore.” I wonder if you treat people this way, what do you expect back!? Look, you want your car fix, I can understand, but… how rude!
2. The client was arguing with the LJ staff: “If I don’t get my car back today, I will sue you and spread the words on Internet so you won’t have business anymore with any Chinese people.” I guess you can do whatever you want. However, by mentioning your next actions in order to get an unreasonable demand, I call that a threat. And by unreasonable, I mean, your car is not in LJ, how can you get back your car!? If you deal initially with RT, why don’t you go back there rather than ask the one who, the only crime may be, introduces someone to fix your car!?
And by the way, statistic shows more than 70% of new business failed within the first 5 years. And how long LJ has been there for business? more than 10 years! If the garage is so bad, I don’t see why it is still there, why people who moved to QC city come back to it, or why old clients who need towing in Ottawa call LJ? Think about it. Even the most reputable business does not have 100% positive feedback. And I’m sure who trust the garage will keep coming back because they know what kind of garage it really is!

据我买车和修车的经验，修车行和卖二手车行，不管是洋人还是中国人的没一个好东西，也许是生意不好作，没一个给人诚实可信的感觉。 本来车出了问题，或坏在路上拖到车行，或跟别人撞了，本身就是很不幸和窝火的事，到了车行，其实也不是声母大不了的事（撞车除外），换个配件，铆一铆，焊一焊，他妈的对于吃这口饭的不是很难解决。但是，他妈的就要黑你的样子，否则，你动不了了，只有任人宰。所以最好是买新车或自己学点基本知识，自己修，让他妈的都去喝西北风去。作者: rtz 时间: 2004-1-12 00:24

Remind you, Jan 9, I did not call and say a word to Ratio Transmission at Lujian, and did you really hear that?
Lujian gave me the quotation of rebuilding my car. Rt picked my car up at Lujian. I sent my car to Lujian and I had to go to RT to pick up my car on this Friday. By all means, I do not need to know who RT is. Lujian definitely is in this loop. By the way, it seems you know where I picked up my car the last time, did Mr. He tell you or you had a camera following me?
Lujian is Lujian, if they did sth good to the new immigrants, I feel good too. If they cheated me, or cheated someone else even in one case, they should pay for it.
I always think if I do not sue them this time, will they cheat more people? I am fighting for myself, also for new immigrants who are Lujian's old and potential customers.
Update to friends who concerns this matter, these weekend I found the transmission is still leaking after going back to Lujian to repair. More badly, the garage and myself also found out the anti-freeze is leaking. They overfill the transmission oil at a very high level,(this will damage the transmission,) Any other damage is still pending for further inspection. If it's found out they intended to damage my car, they are in big trouble.
Initially I do not want to spend too much time on this post, but I still have to. I hope more friends concern about this topic. Please support me! I win, you win. Fewer garages dare cheating us in the future.

Please read carefully, I said I was in the Garage that morning and saw the situation. However, I did not say that I heard your words on the same morning. If I did not make myself clear, I apologize for this.
My intention was to present what I know, which I believe it is the other side of the story. You can agree or disagree. God knows the truth. I’m not here looking for trouble or pick up a fight, but I’m sure think I do not deserve somebody treats me with no “good heart and a thinking brain.” If LJ asks me to be a witness, that will be my pleasure to help.
By the way, did I mention something about where you picked up your car!? Why do I care? Having a camera and following you? C’mon, can you be more creative!? who has the time to do that!? And who tells you that I am a MR? Assumptions without valid proves won’t lead you anywhere…
I ask you to not misleading reader last time and I repeat this time, again. You did not go back to LJ for repair, but to RT. Is that distinction clear? However, it is your right to sue anyone you like because you live in a free country. I guess Mizi is right, if you can’t trust any garage, you better start to learn how to repair a car. Trouble won’t come to you this way and you save big bucks as well!
Anyway, do whatever you think is right, and I thank you for your righteousness that you’re willing to sacrifice your time and money to fight for new immigrants. I will stop here because I do have a GOOD HEART and a THINKING BRAIN. I wish you best of luck for the court case and please let us know the court decision! 楼下的好象很有空，要不就是很有吵架的欲望，估计是位女士，而且是特爱吵架的那种。
楼主只不过把自己的遭遇讲出来，向大家咨询某些问题，车子这样给人整已经很不幸了，各位朋友如果有经验的回个帖子，没经验的看看热闹顺便长点见识，没准儿以后用得着。这也是这个网站“信息交流”的目的所在，可看了楼下这位的回帖实在感觉失望，正面、负面的建议您都没有，把楼主数落一通而且如此尖酸刻薄，人家和路坚的事是对是错最后法庭说了算，您在这扯这么多不觉得多余吗？这个网站、这个坛子有很多热心人把自己的经验讲出来大家分享，互相帮助，气氛一直都很好，楼下的您为何如此无聊非要搅混这美味的坛子呢？！！

如果你车是93年以前的旧车,那你只要进入"路奸"可就惨了,尤其是大修. 他们会让你的车一病不起直到报废!
我以前一直在一个香港人的"捷顺"车行修车,他们的修理一次是一次, 从不拖泥带水. 只因星期日他们去教堂礼拜, 我误入"路奸", 从此,我的车就不可救药了...最后我还是回到"捷顺", 我的车又好如当初了.
"路奸"并不是只黑一两个人,如果你要采取行动,须谨慎!
