今天实在是冷啊。。饭店里没生意太正常

我今天还跟我朋友说，这20岁的脸，冬风吹一吹，10年后就变40岁的脸。

我们今天去吃小肥羊了。每个人中午10块多一点点。一个人加税合15块钱。我第一次去不知道价格，反正觉得很便宜。

没有海鲜，就羊肉+蔬菜，中午人少肉上的勤快。

不过我的确拉肚子了，刚从卫生间爬出来，不过吃的时候还是很开心的。。。肠胃好的朋友中午去最好。

The $1.39+T is a great everyday special. I used to like the Cranberry, heated+butter~=cake. Now have to change to the ?+fiber, as most times the muffins are not made properly. Which one do u like?

Tim Horton muffins are ~1.5 big, + "crispier" top!! Tomorrow, I'm going to take Mr. MP out (to TH), with his $.

小x羊牌,兩种辣的够辣, 先用半包再加. 还有清汤的. .

Issued about 2 or 3 times/yr., ~Jan+Sept. A "$39 off" coupon book was distributed last week.

可惜还是没有谁知道如何拿到这个优惠券是吗？？

我现在在猜是不是因为我前一任房客有办麦当劳的卡，所以麦当劳会每月寄优惠券过来。9月份之所以还会寄到我这邮箱来是因为他们还没去麦当劳改地址。10月以后就没了是因为他们把地址改了。

不知道是不是这个原因。

Had coffee with friend at Snowdon MTR the other day. Friend said the Tim Horton there is not very good. Both soup and coffee were not hot enough.

Mr. MP tried Tim Horton muffin and said it's not much better than McDonald's.

So, for McDonald's
Small Coffee + Muffin=> $1.39+T => $1.57
Medium Coffee + Muffin=> $1.xxT => $1.76
Big Coffee + Muffin=> $1.xx+T => ~$1.99

Depends on which McDonald u go to, free coffee refill:
Snowdon MTR = ONCE only
Berri MTR = No refill (both St. Catherine + St. Denis)
Atwater Shopping Center = unlimited refills

朋友最喜欢他家的 Prime Rib(Roast Prime Rib of Beef “Au Jus”), 通常他们称之为 Roast Beef。我只挂念他家的 Onion Blossom, 一大盘的炸洋葱，看起来像一束花。

通常，他们在报纸上刊登促销广告, 有时在市中心派发宣传单张。MP现在不知道有什么促销, 网上写 Prime Rib $13.95+TT, French Cut Rack of Lamb $18.95+TT, Jan. 14-20. 不像是什么的大特价。

但看上了他家肉店的外卖(提供送货), T-Bone $5.99/lb. (8-18lbs :frown: ), Lean Ground Beef $1.89/lb。 (*全部是生肉*)

A group of my friends from South Shore go there ~once a month, ever since it opened on St. Denis.  They had invited me but I've never gone, as I don't go out in evenings.  That group doesn't like going to Chinatown due to parking problem.  Buffet ~$18.95/21.95, 其它菜可能不便宜, ask them price for #人合菜 before u make reservation.

Don't forget to reserve duck if any of u are going, sold out quickly.  Happy new year!

要小心，tim horton的咖啡添加了太多的香精。咖啡还是starbucks好喝，就是贵！次一点就是魁老爱喝的second cup。。。当然要是运气好，能碰上上乘的home made小店（包括有些意大利人开的）。。。。我现在就煮咖啡去。。。。

我不喝黑咖啡的。我酷爱cafe au lait或者cappuccino。tim horton的cappuccino一喝就有很重的香精和添加剂的味道。和同事讨论过，大家有同感的。当然多数魁老口味重，会喜欢tim horton，他们不介意添加剂，特别是加拿大本地产的添加剂哈哈。。。。

Every Spring (may be once more in Summer), Ultramar stuff mail boxes with discount coupons.  For the last few years, there's 1 free coffee coupon, no purchase required.  We had ~20 free cappuccino last year :p.

Check if there's any Ultramar around u.  If u don't live in apartment building, ask your friend(s) to collect them for u.  It is a bit too early to tell u now, but I may be off web after March.  Have fun!

Tips for the "scratch and save" coupon for gasoline ==> u can read the discount amount by checking coupon with any red liquid.  My friends "look" at the coupon through a bottle of Scotch.  http://www.ultramar.ca/

)。只是每个人喜欢的东西不同吧！

认识MP的，都知道MP是绝对+一定不去小肥羊的。不喜欢被提示/讲解/强迫 15%小费，也不支持这家餐厅的坏习惯！

Decor is better than those in above photo gallery. We ordered:
Chicken(1/4) and Ribs(~1/2 rack) - $10.00 +T
Portugaise Mixed Grill (small pieces Surloin Steak(medium rare)/port chop/chicken/sausage) - $10.50 +T

Chicken was on the dry side, rib was not soft at all. Mixed grill was so-so, but amazed that they could really give us a medium rare tiny piece of steak, ha! BUT we were completely impressed by the quantity, both plates served with small salad and French Fries. Their mayonaise was quite good as a dip for fries and chicken. There was option to add $3 for additional entry+cake+coffee/tea. Even I couldn't finish the main plate.

Friendly owners and waitresses, although food quality was not the best, we did have an excellent dining experience. I would definitely go back for their Monday-Friday lunch specials ($9-$15+T), a bit more expensive than Prince Arthur, but less greasy food. If u have time today, do go and try them out!

上周试吃了他们 (潮楼) 的烤串，羊肉和牛肉，特价每串一刀。可以。正常价格为2刀一 (小) 串，或5刀3 (小) 串。以后去他家吃午餐的话，可以加肉肉啦！
下周(~Feb 2 to Feb 8) 去试他们的麻辣烫 (试吃价 $3) 。

小美女说他家的蜜糖烧鸡翅是一定要试试的（二月九日至15日）。

同学们知道吃葡国烤鸡，可以要求将鸡切成"小块"，加 Piri Piri 酱。这种 Piri Piri 酱是微辣，通常会回炉再小烤一下。
一般葡国烤鸡店，有炸薯条和烤小土豆球，我通常要求换成烤小土豆球，有时需要加钱。

后记：
St-Denis 街上靠近中央图书馆的 Piri Piri 。。。。完全不是葡国烤鸡，不行。卫生没问题，如果你很饿，还是可以的。
