我知道四个college有护士，dawson,champlain regional,marianopolis,vanier,但是不知道哪一个更好？还有其他学校吗？有谁知道关于考护士执照的事情吗？先谢谢热心的朋友！！！

我也有想读护士专业的念头,本想赶在3月份前报名的(报名表都拿好了),但后来了解到这个专业要读法文而且对英语要求很高,还要面试呢.因为自己的口语不大好,所以有迟疑了.听朋友说DAWSON是MONTREAL最好的COLLEGE,VANIER也不错.
有空我们可以聊聊有关这方面的信息.

前段时间在网上找到一篇文章是介绍有关NURSING专业的就学和就业的,里面还有介绍有关考牌的问题.我已经COPY了下来,要是你想看看,可以留下你的E-MAIL,我发个附件给你.
另外你说的可以先入学是否指先读它的语言班.因为我知道有这种情况:要是语言不好,它要求你读它一定课时的英语课程.

dawson在ATWATER（绿线）不出站，你能看到DAWSON出口，就是。三年NURSING，有单独的英语班。40小时/260元。

太高兴看到这篇帖子。我在国内没有来的时候就有学护理的意想，也查询过这边的情况。但是我一直有一个疑问，这边不让外国留学生学临床医学的。是不是留学生也可以学护士呢？！那，我知道MCGILL大学也有护理的课程的。而且我想MCGILL是最好的大学了，诸位有了解的么？！听说MCGILL的护理课程是2年毕业吧！我在网上查了一下，具体情况不太清楚。不过语言要求比较的高，笔试600，机考是250分以上。如果是学语言的话我建议大家到MCGILL，老牌学校的教学质量很高，从不同角度来培养你的英语能力。如果能从5级直接上Mcgill的护理不是很好么？！真的很高兴看到你们。~*__*~

Dawson和Vanier都是公立英语college，学制3年。John Abbott college是私立的，也有护理专业，3年，不过该学校还有短期强化课程2年完成。有兴趣者可去咨询。

给各位有志学护士、护理专业的大朋小友们鼓鼓劲：
我是移民，三十有七，也曾动过学这个专业的念头，后来还是选了运动科学（英文叫锻炼科学）。专业课包括解剖学和生理学，确实有非常多生词，加上我以前是搞文科的，还要同时补数理化，可以想像多困难。但咬咬牙扛住它，也就过来了。虽然我的成绩不理想，毕业估计没问题。那些二十几岁的小伙子小姑娘们，加油吧。
学计算机不是也难吗，咱中国人都没落后，为什么不多点国人涉足医药保健行业呢？或许有学法语的困难，但万一两三年后法语还学不好，就去外省发展呗。反正几年内加拿大却护士、护理员的状况不可能一下改善，就业是不用愁的。

你是申请的哪所学校的护士专业?我问过几个学校,他们说要有高中的理化成绩,还要在这里公证和评估.这倒没什么,等我去具体咨询时,那学校的接待者说,这个专业很热门,当地的高中毕业生报名很多,很多都不能入取,劝我还是报别的专业吧,再说已经过了3月1日的取名期限了,也省了30块的报名费.这样,我就放弃了.

做姐姐我是永远不够资格了——本人男性。就做大哥吧！
我是在CONCORDIA念EXERCISE SCIENCE，其实与护士专业属两码事，只不过因为归健身行业，须修解剖、生理、急救、健身方式、生物力学等课。这门专业的工作领域在理疗诊所、健身馆、运动队等（以后还要考牌上岗）。本地学生也有以此为跳板，读完后报考医科、牙科的。EXERCISE SCIENCE DEPARTEMENT也算COMPETITIVE（只是中国人一般不知道），录取资格大概在（加拿大）高中平均分70%左右（比计算机低）。
据我们系里一位认教十年的上海籍老师讲，学这个专业的大陆移民我是第一个，所以将来在本地对华人而言的就业机会如何还没有前人之先例，或许要等我明年下半年给出参考答案了:-)。

上次帖子里我是说我曾想过报护士专业，但后来选了锻炼科学。至于报考护士是否很难不太清楚。但请记住一点：任何真正好找工作的学科都是不太容易进的，这里面因素很复杂，我个人认为既有本身竞争激烈，条件高的原因，也有多多少少限制外来者涉足此行业的味道。但路是靠我们闯的，不应该畏难。看看那些读出来的人，只有嫌工作太多有谁愁找不到工作的？
那家COLLEGE给你泼冷水就去另一家去试。如果你真对这行有兴趣不妨多看几个学校。假如现在报名还有希望仍值得花三十块报名费一试。一旦被拒起码可以问他们是什么原因，为将来做更好的准备。
纯属个人见解，希望不至偏颇。

若是几个学校都说现在报名太晚了，不妨先考虑其它专业，同时等待报明年冬季的时间，做两手准备。甚至今年秋季先读其他专业，等十一、二月报护士，录取后再转学也应该可以。

Nursing programe begin only in september, so you can prepare for next year. it is easy to get admission if you apply in advance, because they will recruit about more than 140. Chinese people can get good marks if you work hard, it is important to pass the clinical evaluation in the second semester. Most patients are friendly,you have chance to practice English. The last semester you need to pass the license test including skills evaluation. good luck to you.

今天我去VANIER COLLEGE问过了！
不用TOEFL，会有一个测验大概就是笔试，读文章回答问题吧，不知道有没有作文。今年的课程是申请不上了。楼上的，你等着明年3月1日前申请吧。如果没有相关的背景不容易。。。。。还有呼吸和麻醉这个课程你也可以学的。成绩单当然重要。

According my knoweldge, being a nurse at Quebec is not a easy job. My colleague's sister is working at Royal Victora Hospital. She said the working condition was very terrible. Two nurses should serve twenty-four patients and usually work for 12 hours a day without rest. The annual income is just 35000 CND per year. Furthermore, the language requirement is very high. Think about it, when everything is urgent, no one will waste one second to repeat one word. If you like to select nursing as your profession, you should be ready to work hard, have a peace mind and a good Enligh communication skill.

Dear everybody,

I got offer from university to study nursing program. I am worried about myself whether i will be dropped in the future 'cause it looks difficult to study. When the director interviewed me, she said you are ok, do not worry . i do not understand it is true or just for comfort me. I have graduated from high school for 9years.   WHENCHOCOLATESCRY（这名字起的多别致！我两辈字也想不出来）说的对，不用太担心。毛主席说，对（敌人和）困难，“战略上要藐视它，战术上要重视它。”别怕，但最好提前买来教材看，这样主动很多。因为生词会非常非常多，特别是头两三个学期，很可能花在查生词上的时间要占全部学习时间的几乎一半（这是我前两个学期的体会）。

The nursing program is quite hard especially if your SOCIAL SKILL and LANGUAGE ABILITY are poor. Trust me! You may get in the program but not all of you would be able to graduate. I have known a few who got kicked out of the program. The evaluation for clinical performance is tough. Be prepared for hard work.

However, along with the increasing chinese immigrants in Montreal and the population aging, WE DO NEED MANY MORE NURSES in Quebec. It is nearly impossible to be unemployed as a nurse. The need is SO HIGH. WE ALSO NEED MORE MANDARIN-SPEAKING NURSES to serve the growing chinese community as many of them can not speak either French or English.

我一直很奇怪为什么护士很好找工作却没什么人读.是因为来这里的移民普遍年纪大了的缘故吗?
我想问一下.我打电话去麦大问读他们的护士本科,回答我的小姐说我要去大学选课----生物,化学,物理任选两门读一个学期,高中读过不行.(还有两种什么数学,我其中一个没听清,我想我大学读的是计算机,什么数学都学过了,呵呵,就没再问了)然后托福要233.我想问问大家有没有读过护士的啊,是这样吗?因为她说的好快,我确认了两遍,不好意再问了,不知道是不是我选棵去读,读完就可以申请了?对了,他怎么没告诉我这些课程的代号什么的啊,难道生物,化学,物理这些在大学里头没有级别的吗?急盼大狭回复!谢谢!

后来又电话问了一遍。说选如门课程就可以了。我看到康大的化学入门课程有两个，general chemistry 1 & generalchemistry 2 ,问他要不要两个都选，他让我先上 1，至于2 他含含糊糊的，我真的弄不明，反复问他，他就说先上1，真是急死我了。

-----据我的了解，毕业后区别当然在于学位不一样啦，这样工作的起薪也不一样，college和著名的mcgill无论如何是不能相提并论的。即使你读college，如果你大学里没有学习生物，化学，物理中任意两门就的在这里选课学习，学习完了通过了考试才能报考（我了解的是这样的，不知道有没有错阿。）

是读英语学校好呢还是法语学校？
如果你会法语我觉得还是报法语的，容易进，英语的人多不容易进，可惜我不会法语阿。

我也不会法语，MIGILL要求的化学和物理我都学过，生物未学，只学过生化{本人专业就是化学）。我真是佩服你，专业跨度那么大，仍然有勇气选护士。我并不是不想选护士本科，而是担心专业跨度太大，难以接受，故从专科学起，我也很矛盾，你可有好的建议？我从MIGILL的护理专业看到好象有两种，BN和BSCN PROGRAMS，我们只能学第二种。

如果你没什么医疗背景，最好不要读。读起来很难，理解起来很困难，光是医学用词，就够你背一阵，这跟英语好坏无关。医学它是专用词。不象计算机，财会，管理专业词很少。也很难毕业。

zhjh225,我是太讨厌计算机这个职业了，当作和英语一样的工具还行。我觉得你的条件比我好，我认为同样是3年的时间，能上本科为什么不上。我这两天看了网上一些资料，我如果申请麦大的本科就必须修那几门课程，数学还是的修，因为我没有在“过去五年内”修那些课程。我现在确实是很矛盾的。因为这意味我要自己交钱去修三门课，估计起码12各学分，得很多钱吧。而且还比须各门考试75分以上才有资格申请。然后还有一个时间问题。等我修完这些课程最早也要等到后年的秋天入学了(冬季没有护士专业的入学)。所以你还是先别佩服我吧，我现在都不知道怎么办呢。对了，麦大有一个专门为以前没有任何护士经验的人提供一个硕士课程，你考进去了先学8个月的预备课程，就是生物什么的，通过了考试（应该要比较优秀的成绩）才能正式上。（不保险，估计淘汰率高）。我知道的就是这些了。希望你作出决定来告诉我！

如果上college的话有两门prerequistite，chemistry 534 & physical science 436. 请问有没有知道的人，这两门课程可以在那里修？我一个朋友在多伦多的成人高中免费修读，可是这里不知道有没有？！如果在college修的话要多少时间多少钱呢？

Milkytooth所言及是。此专业读的相当辛苦，但正如我去年所提，可预见的未来不必担心就业前景。
很高兴从去年开始在这个话题里认识了几位朋友。目前她们有的在温哥华，有的在蒙城的colleges读 health science
或lab technician专业，也有的来读了 Exercise science。这些与医学、保健相关的行业有着非常好的职业机会。比如十月二十五日本地英文报纸The Gazette的一篇Montreal Works专版把护士列为今年十大最热门职业中的第一位。而前几个星期的《蒙城华人报》转引加拿大某行业调查信息称个人健身指导（运动学专业学生可考牌）将成为另一需求大增的职业。
各位如果对这类工作感兴趣，go ahead into it.

Oh, man, don't scare me.
In your opinion, it means that i can not catch the deadline of this year. I got some information from website, the deadline for application i think is march1. Last time i just went to dawson college,that lady just told me i can get the addmission from in feberary. From your opinion, they have already got enough candiates.Is that so mean?
By the way, i got my master degree of medicine in china,it means i can be easier to be accepted or more difficult accpeted?

前段时间在网上找到一篇文章是介绍有关NURSING专业的就学和就业的,里面还有介绍有关考牌的问题.我已经COPY了下来,要是你想看看,可以留下你的E-MAIL,我发个附件给你.
另外你说的可以先入学是否指先读它的语言班.因为我知道有这种情况:要是语言不好,它要求你读它一定课时的英语课程.

1。你真的热爱护理工作吗?

sorry . my chinese system does not work. it always be.
1. do you like nursing very much, how much do you  know about the career?
If you can not say YES, you d better ask some ladies who were nurses in China or Canada, I believe no matter in china nor in canada the job is same: nursing patients. it is a tough job, need high language skill, overtime work ,heavy work pressureand little pay.
2. If you insist you LIKE this tough career, then can you speak English like a native? if you can not, it is easy, never think about it again. it is not easy to master English like a native so that you can save the patients lives, while not killed them, I am serious. Do not think after 2-5 years you can speak English fluently,It is not enough.

IF you can speak English well, I wonder why you choose this tough career ? many good job is waiting for you, such as: insurance company underwriting ,financial consultant, Marketing director, sales manager, lawyer and docter.
3.Can you graduate from nursing school? entrance is open to you maybe, but after you paying the tuition and getting a higher mark, can you pass the practice as an Intern nurse? I doublt it. If you can, why not make a plan to be a docter, I believe that the language skill to be a physician or surgeon is lower that to be a nurse.
4 French is not a big problem.
5. Is it effective to invest so many money and so much time to get a so tough job?
6. If you insist you still want to be a nurse, the best advice from me is to be a doctor, it is not  harder than nursing.
7. find a way which is fit for you and can get a reasonable and high  income as sooner as possible.
