Company Description
Our client is a dynamic and successful Montreal based company specializing in web based content management systems and they are growing at a rapid pace. Their new leadership requires professionals who are ready to take the next step in their career growth. As such, we are currently seeking a Senior Web Programmer.
Job Description
Under the supervision of the Director of Technology, the candidate must be a highly motivated and dedicated professional who has a strong commitment to excellence and understands the vital importance of being part of a team. You will have as a mandate to take part in the Internet programming activities in the various projects related to the development of web applications and
the management of data.
Responsibilities
Carry out the programming of Web pages with XHTML/CSS/AJAX/JavaScript;
Participate in software development with object oriented programming (PHP5);
Program web sites based on databases with MySQL;
Diagnose and repair software problems;
Design, develop and write up functional specifications required during process development;
Carry out other tasks compatible to your functions.
Skills
DCS or CEA in computers, Bachelor in computer science or any other pertinent training;
5+ years experience pertinent to programming;
Experience in development with MySQL, or MS SQL, HTML and PHP 4 or 5;
Experience in Flash and Action Script an asset, but not a must.
Able to easily communicate in English;
Excellent aptitude to work as a team.
