For low income families with refrigerators that`s over 15 years old, they can have their old fridge EXCHANGED into a new one for only $75.

This is only a pilot project, can`t find any web site for it. So . . . . practice typing time . . . :p

Criteria:
1.  is low income family,
2.  owner of the old fridge, and
3.  is responsible for paying the electricity bill.

Refrigerator:
1.  is over 15 years old,
2.  in working condition, and
3.  has a volumn of 10-25 cubic feet.

Limit one fridge per family.

Believe they pick-up your old fridge, deliver u a new one.

1.  U pay $75 when sign contract, (I don`t know when)
2.  The new fridge will be guarantee by the manufacturer, e.g. Frigidaire.
3.  The size of new fridge will be 'comparable' to your old one.

- Administered by Consortium MRE Environnement,

我买二手房时, 原房东留下了一个旧冰箱, 但是没有留任何单据. 因为噪音大, 想换个新的.

请教: 需要提供什么样的证据来来证明冰箱是15年以上的吗? 多谢!

10年以上就可以。在冰箱冷冻室里面，贴着张纸，那上面应该有信息。另外，我家刚刚让他们来回收了一台。他们也没查是不是10年以上的。我已经收到了60块钱的check。

其他: 以前, 购买"节能灯泡" 可得到 Hydroquebec 回扣. 要保持原始收据 + 条形码, 我现在没有足够的时间去找info. Don`t know if they still have it. Something like MAXIMUM $25.
