A number of new Chinese restaurants opened ~ St. Denis/ Sherbrooke.  Parking around that area could be a problem.  I'll write whatever I know, whoever has more information are welcomed to add or correct me.

It's not easy to run restaurants, best of luck to all!

Warning: Most "new" restaurants in that area only last 1 year, if not less.  There's a empty coffee place at the NW corner, DON'T tempt your fate!

周末，有时我们外出与朋友共进午餐，通常是在 Prince Arthur的餐馆, 通常 朋友都很容易地  在餐馆附近 找到免费的路边停车。(冬天，夏天不知道)

停车后，向东面 步行n个路口，再向南面 步行n个路口。 :p

暂时 只能想到以上的，欢迎同学们 补充或纠正！

每每看到那边的饭馆都不爱去，老觉得不方便~~那个米线馆我就想去，想了这么久了还是觉得去着不方便，特别是现在天天坐火车

好像一直都去了viateur和roy，st-denis和st-laurent这个四方形区域里的餐厅，prince arthur一直是我餐厅地图上的真空呢。prince arthur上有啥比较好的推荐一下？

Prince Arthur 街大部份的餐厅 只是一般的 食堂等级 (cafeteria food)，夏天坐路边，边吃饭 边看人/ 看狗/ 看旅客，好玩 :p 。

如果你从未尝试过波兰菜，值得去一次 Masurka 试试。只是波兰农村菜，然后回家自己做，很容易做，味道也非常相似！

现在性价最高的是 Casa Grecque 的午市套餐 。  Kids under 12 eat free on Sunday, details see bottom page of a la carte 菜单。 现在特价的12oz Rib Steak may interest some of u (周日至周四全天)。

I DONOT recommend dinner at Greek restaurants on Prince Arthur, over-priced! U get much better food from  l'Evidence(3619 St. Denis) for a few more dollars。  Or go to La Popessa(3801 St-Denis) for cheap pasta。

Casa Grecque 午市套餐包括: (周一至周日11-15:00, 节假日除外)
1.  汤（或番茄汁） + 大蒜烤面包片(免费添加)，
2.  主菜 (另有3大块油炸土豆，一小堆饭*(免费添加)，和一大堆沙拉)
3.  甜点（蛋糕不错），和
4.  咖啡 (免费添加) 或茶。

NEWMAN街上也有碍CASA GRECQUE, 大家就不用担心PARKING 了.
Casa Grecque 午市套餐包括: (周一至周日11-15:00, 节假日除外)
1. 汤（或番茄汁） + 大蒜烤面包片(免费添加)，
2. 主菜 (另有3大块油炸土豆，一小堆饭*(免费添加)，和一大堆沙拉)

Casa Grecque 是连锁店, 魁省有~32店, 蒙特利尔岛有~7店 (看网站).  我在七楼写的 全有网站链接，包括菜单网页，你再看看！

菜单网页是写 "tous les jous de 11h a 15h, excepte les jours feries et jours de fete(~除了假期和节日)"。会不会是个别分店 长周末 vs. 一天的节日假期?

正常的周六和周日 是有特价午餐的，我上个周末 又吃了

T美女, if u go to Newman, why not go to Vichy?  Could be a better choice!

I like Vichy's Roast Pork (next to the Smoke Meat/Roast Beef/Turkey counter) with Black Pepper Sauce.  They also have Souvlaki, not sure Chicken or Pork, although it's not the best.

Prince Arthur 街另外有二家印度餐厅， 一家墨西哥餐厅，一家意大利餐厅， 三家法国餐厅，一家烧烤/烤鸡餐厅。We mainly go for Greek food there, haven't tried much of the others. Starting with Casa Grecque going West towards St. Laurent:

1S.  East India - 166 Prince Arthur E.(514-844-1199) - tried once, we prefer the Greek restaurants, better value at similar price.  

2S.  Le Square - French - 162 Prince Arthur E. (514-439-7755) - only opened 1.x years, business seems OK.  www.restaurantlesquare.com

3N.  ?? - Italian restaurant, operated for many years, great business.  We never go out for Pasta, my home cook Italian are good :p

4S.  ?? - Mexican, operated for ~2 years, seems like most people go there for drinks.  Menu looks similar to 3 Amigo, only more expensive.

5N.  ?? - 烧烤/烤鸡餐厅, ~3-5 years, always busy.

6S.  ?? - French - ~2 years, business looks OK.

7N.  Rajput - Indian - 51 Prince Arthur E. (514-289-9797), ~x months, lunch buffet @$9.99+TT, only few items, Monday-Friday only.  www.restaurantrajput.com

8N.  ?? - French - ~1 year, looks empty.

For Indian food, we prefer La Porte de l'Inde on St. Laurent, not the best food but good price and good service.

不好意思, 偶实在不怎么喜欢VICKY的FOOD, 尽管很便宜. 能常吃的BUFFET实在找不出来.
(另外对偶而言实在也是分不出来ROAST PORK跟SMOKE MEAT的区别:p)

今天去了CASA GRECQUE, 怪不得他们周末午餐生意也是哈好. 以前偶有时去SCORES的午餐特价, 最近好象把周末的MIDI MENU给取消了:frown:.

看上去您的地盘在DOWNTOWN的PLATEAU一带, 偶的活动地带在岛内偏西, 赫赫.

肯定你还没有尝过Vichy 的烤猪肉 , 烤猪肉味道没什么特别，但他家使用文火 烤几个小时，因而非常嫩，又不干。(就是 知道你们不会留意，我才写的。 :cool: ) 你千万不要周一去 吃周日吃剩的，保证干。

"最近好象把周末的MIDI MENU给取消了" ==> order the Quarter Chicken Leg, salad bar is included.  There are fresh fruits in the salad bar, u will be amazed that they taste better then they look 。  Believe it's $9.xx+TT, still good price for dinner。

There's still your Barbie (www.barbiesrestaurant.com), Bar-B-Barn on Sources(www.barbbarn.ca), www.popessa.net has pasta outlets in West Island also.

台湾mm 太可爱了 :p , 多写几句停车的 (台湾mm说的):

在餐馆门口 - 星期日至星期三，下午6时后，免费。
St-Denis 南面(过了 Rene-Levesque) = 医院对面 花店门口 - 下午4点后，有几个免费停车位。
St-Catherine 右拐 (应该是右边罢 :confused: ) - 每天下午6时后，免费。(=不必付 停车收费表，please double check :p )

蜗牛回来 la! 今天在图书馆避暑，终于有时间写了 。

那个米线馆 很方便的:
- Go to Berri-UQAM MTR, 地面售票处4个出口，在 Dunkin Donuts那边出。
- Dunkin Donuts 左边 是中央图书馆入口，入图书馆， 乘电梯上地面。
- 中央图书馆 东南西北4个门，西门 Presse Cafe 那边出，Emery街 直走。(facing West)
- Turn right after 1 small block, that's St-Denis(=McDonald)。(facing Norh)
- after 6th stores, that's the 楼梯 to go up to 上品米线 (on top of Quiznos Sub)
