No. Actually, admission = get accepted without scholarship, and offer = get admission with financial aide(like TA,RA).

Thesis option means your main work during the graduate study is doing research with a professor (to get a degree as M.A.Sc or M.Sc), on the other hand the course option means all you have to do in this 2 years is taking courses(to get a degree as M.Eng). The main difference between those two is that, you cannot apply for the PH.D with your M.Eng degree. However,as for job, that's the same.;)

You can say that there is almost no difference between M.A.Sc and M.Sc. It's only a matter of title. However, generally, the graduate school will not accept the PH.D appllicant with a M.Eng on course option. So if you wanna choose the academic research as your career, go for the thesis option. If not, both M.A.Sc and M.Eng are same for job hunting.

还有一些区别就是M.A.SC必须修够45个学分，并且不用写thesis，但是M.SC只需修16个学分，然后写thesis（占29个学分）。当然M.A.SC不能读Ph.d:confused:
