Unfortunately you would be responsible for the major fault in this accident because you changed your lane from lane A to lane B. The yellow car driving in lane B has the privilege right in his own lane.  So, when you change the lane, you must be sure it is safe to do so.

Maybe you can call that person and bargain with him for the repair and not to report to the insurance company.
