本人不幸在concordia念过几个月书，后转到Mcgill继续学业，为了给新到的朋友一个直观的认识，也说上几句：
1.concordia就像一个乡镇企业，mcgill就像一个实力雄厚的国营企业。
2.进了concordia的门槛他就会狠砍你的钱；mcgill在北美曾经很有名，但国营企业近年少了国家的扶持，自然有点不济，从其图书馆破旧的藏书可见一斑。
3.mcgill的年度预算是concor的5倍（由此可看出2个学校不是在一个档次的）
4.concordia有全加拿大最“难念”的EE(GRA)和ACCOUNTING(UNDERGRA)，用高淘汰率来保证质量（其ACCOUNTING号称有加拿大第一的考CA,LA率，但考试前已经有很多人被淘汰掉了，其学制的合理性仁者见?剩?钦呒?牵?凑?愕那?潜凰???耍

stop arguing in this stupid question.

we are the suffering brothers in those damn university.in fact no canadian welcome and respect our chinese students.why should we argue about the rank of their university?

survival reality and job prospect are more important than those intangible reputations of "canadian" `s university.

I am in mcgill but I wish to take some  courses in concordia because some program in concordia are more practical.

but generally speaking,concordia isn`t same rank with mcgill though the rank of mcgill is continuing to go down.

老兄真是好笑，竟然有加拿大的清华这样的说法，我看WATERLOO关门到中国去办大学更好。而且不知道是谁封的WATERLOO在加拿大工科第一，至少U OF T的工程就一点儿都不比WATERLOO差。老兄说话悠着点。

从你的贴子里看，好象CONCORDIA的有些系要比MCGILL好，请给我一些内行人的意见，倒底是哪些系比MCGILL的好，好在哪里，以供我们选择学校时参考。

I do not know some people love their school so much.
Ok, I agree that Concordia is the first level university which can compare with MIT, Harford, Standford, Toronto etc.
But it is a '笑话'.

大家没有必要在这里谈论这些无聊的问题，不论出身于哪个学校，是否能得到成功，还得靠自己。清华出来的也不全都是精英，我的原单位就有一个，还不是和我们一样当个小职员？我有个“海淀走读”出 来的朋友，白手起家，没有靠任何关系，5年内已是某大型私企的老板，混得我想比在座大多数人都好。还是回到图书馆去看书吧，管它是McGill的还是Concordia的。

The Waterloo University has nothing better than McGill U and U of T except the field of computer. According to the American, McGill U and U of T are the best in Canada, almost standing on the same level as ivy leaguers. But the computer science of Waterloo can rank the top 3 in North America.
