Review: Despite what some people on here try to tell you Spirite Lounge does not force feed you or ban you for life. At Spirit Lounge you get there and you are told right away if you don't finish you main course then you aren't allowed to have desert (no different from what parents do with kids), if you don't finish desert then you are asked to not come back (not banned) - though I believe you're allowed to take the desert to-go if you bring a container. To make sure that people can finish their main course their are 3 sizes offered, large, small, and child. Personally I don't know who wouldn't be able to finish the large unless they were anorexic or detested the food (something I find unimaginable). Also this is not a vegan restaurant it is vegetarian. The main course everytime I have been there has been a crepe with different fillings, and a sauce and sorbet on top - everytime it has been delicious. Simple rule if you are full and don't think you can finish a desert, DON'T ORDER IT.
Pros: Great food * wonderful decore *
Cons: Can't use a cellphone * *

中餐 - u are better off going to China Town, else go to downtown, around Concordia.

For those of u who live around McGill area, try breakfast @ following. Their backyard is GREAT in the summer.

Actually, for high $1X to $3X+TT, u can already have a dinner+music+animation.(except x'mas, the golden season for restaurants @~$50+)  2 restaurants listed @ www.oyez.ca.  Menu and prices are listed on websites.  Unless there are reservation for group of 25+, they are ONLY opened Friday/Saturday/Sunday evenings.

They have Sugaring-Off (=Sugar Shack) "~buffet" in March/April, worth checking out.  Reservation required.

I feel like celebrating this year, haven't decided whether to go for Belly Dance(show) Dinner, Flamingo Dance(show) Dinner or to Cabaret du Roy in Old Montreal.  Most likely will wait till after x'mas and new year.  No point in paying ~$20 MORE per person just because of the stipud dates.

中式面食:
Excellent = none in Montreal; try Toronto+New York
Acceptable = 广东人的豉椒牛河(below) + 干炒牛河(a number of good restaurants in downtown+Chinatown)

All Chinese noodles are machine made, except:
Don't know = 拉皮 by 四海食府+老北京, believe they make those themselves.

The only thing u don't want to miss in Montreal:  越南河粉 - they still do them the old way.  Do a search on this website on 越南河粉.  May be they are better in Toronto, but quality in Montreal should be acceptable.

Many Italian restaurants sell great Italian Pasta(fresh made).  Local gem .  .  .  .  :

. . . . . . 还有唐人街的满城餐馆。最好吃的是他们的豉椒牛河。价钱最便宜，才6。5/份，味道好而且份量很大。不过服务态度不是很好啦，所以每回只买外卖。. . . . .

我看你最后又说面食，不知道montreal这边那里面做的最好，狂想吃面，因为来的时间不长，目前只去过中国城和catheren那条街

饮茶 - Mon- Fri 10:15:00, Sat/Sun 9:30-15:00
It's on 2nd floor, may not be convenient for some elderlies.
Used to be not too good. Changed owner before Christmas, don't know the quality now!

FU LAN:但是一到晚上或是周末，这里就贵得吓人，税前就是21/客，菜的选择有限!而且味道相当不咋的，太咸太多味精！

他家50周年了，虽然说现在经济不太景气，但是每个周末没有订位的话，需要排队。我家对crepes不感冒，陪朋友去的。。。。。伤心。。。。。

不过呢，从这一个经历中学了。。。。。以后假装不饿，只点一个洋葱汤。:p
