Q1: Maternity Benefits under Employment Insurance has been replaced by Quebec Parental Insurance Plan from Jan. 1, 2006. It is no longer available for Quebec residents. People who took their maternity benefits under Employment Insurance before Jan. 1, 2006 can not be switched to Quebec Parental Insurance Plan.

Q2: Call Revenue Quebec, tell them you need your notice of assessment badly. I received it only last week.
