If you want to get a free cell, you have to sign one year contract with service provider. As far as I know there are some providers' shop along the stree Ste-Catherine West in downtown such as Fide and Rogers At&T, and some affiliated shops such Future Shop. Walk in and ask the representives.

There is a representive of Rogers At&T in China town run by Chinese from Hong Kong.

在C&C家街口Goyer与cote-des-neiges交界，有个水果蔬菜店叫Kiwi,价钱很便宜。（偶尔有的时候不太新鲜）
