2003-05-31户外郊游活动因雨再次顺推 .这项活动一推再推. 真是"光打雷不下雨"．但要是真的不下雨也就行了!! 还望朋友们见谅．
户外郊游活动将增加幸运抽奖活动.
2003-05-28: 从3月1日以来得不到3个月的时间, 我们江苏同乡会就相聚了100个同乡(家庭)

鉴于这样的天气状况消息,
江苏同乡会定于May 31, 2003周六在Angrignon Park 举办首次户外郊游活动。
集合时间：May 31, 2003周六上午11：00

上周六的聚会很棒，尤其是大家准备的食物，大饱口福。我那天本来不想出门的，临时改主意，所以只带了几块自制的cookie，最要命的是在开饭前就瞎吆喝，王婆卖瓜，给卖出去了，不好意思。
当时有几个姐妹问我要cookie的配方，我在这里贴一下。

Chocolate Chip Cookies

1/2 cup shortening
1/2 cup margarine or butter
2 +1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 12-ounce package (2 cups ) semisweet chocolate pieces
1 cup chopped walnut, pecans, or hazelnuts (filberts) (optional)

1)       In a large mixing bowl beat the shortening and margarine or butter with an electric mixer on medium to high speed about 30 seconds or till softened.
2)       Add about half of the flour to the shortening mixture. Then add brown sugar, sugar, eggs, vanilla, and baking soda. Beat till thoroughly combined, scraping sides of bowl occasionally. Beat in remaining flour.
3)       Stir in the chocolate pieces and walnuts, pecans, or hazelnuts.
4)       Drop the dough by rounded teaspoon 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheets.

5)       Bake in a 375 degree oven for 8 to 10 minutes or till edges are lightly browned. Remove cookies ad cool on wire racks.

在metro, super C这类的超市里都能买到，如果买不到，不用也可以。
