1) get a freshly baked baguette (do not use sliced bread) and cut side ways, about 1 1/2 inches wide. The baguette is available from Maxi, Loblaws etc.
2) put the garlic butter in microwave to melt it - about 15 sec
3) use the butter spreader (knife) or spoon to butter the bread both sides - not too much
4) preheat the oven at 400C and put the buttered bread on a baking sheet - 10 min to observe. If it is not warm enough, you may extend by another 3 - 5 min (not over 15 min total).

Not too long time ago there was a guy made this bread for me during lunch time. He spread Garlic butter (you can find it in super maket, a bit more expensive than normal salted butter) in the bread and then put them in the oven for something like 10-15 minutes. The taste was so great and I still remember it now even he has left Montreal for almost one month. There are tastes of lifes that will not fade as time goes by, and the "garlic bread" is one of them.
Such as nice sentence." there are tastes of lifes that will not fade as time goes by...", and tast of "help" is on of them.
