                     商科大学生就业出路在哪里？                        

加 拿大就业市场，商科方向总体的工作职位最多 （各大求职网站搜一下，你会发现常年1,000多个工作职位， 并且有很多初级职位），但为什么我们中国商科毕业的大学生很多都拿不到JOB OFFER？原因在于： 职位多归多，但很多人不知道申请适合自己的具体职位。 也即是不能准确找到自己的职场定位；其次看着和自己背景有关系的职位上description里描述的岗位技能和工作经验，根本不知道是什么，那的底气一下就没了。商科大学生不要灰心，先要静下心来，把问题的根源搞清楚，最后找到解决问题的办法，尽快成功找到自己的专业工作，任何焦躁都无意义滴。           

                什么是适合中国商科学生的好工作？

1. 要申请的工作应该是：
- 年轻为优势的职位(对经验有一定要求，但经验不是最重要的)；
- 容易入门、需求量大、有提升空间；
- 对语言有要求，但不是特别高，而且是社会认为是我们中国人擅长做的

2.所以这样的工作一定是基本介于Business和Technology之间的工作，如：
- Business Analyst,
- Financial Analyst
- Marketing Coordinator,
- Marketing Analyst,
- Marketing Coordinator,

- Business administrator / support.            

有的同学说了，我早看过这些职位了，没有您说的 Technology 要求，并且我也有申请，一直都没有回音啊！可以负责任的告诉你，那是因为你没有看懂职位需求，你的简历答非所问。

1. 其实就是上面讲的这几类工作，有两大类 - 一类偏SALES，我们PASS; 还有一类偏技术，是我们的首选。只要我们稍微针对性地做些准备，我们很容易就能做好，到时侯不想升职都难！为什么？因为我们中国学生在加拿大被天然的归类Technology 比较强,这些职位被认为华人毕业生最适合！这反而变成了我们的优势（其实可能并

不是， 但这类职位的技术要求真的易学易用）。

2. 这些初级职位基本要求你有商科背景（这很重要，否则你大学学的就白瞎了），另外要求一些很具体的SKILLS 和实际工作经验：

                        Reporting & Analysis with Excel               
Objective: The course is designed for individual, who processes a basic understanding on how business case is created and operated, and knowledge in Accounting, Financial Planning and Investment Decision. Technically, student will use MS Excel to realize profitability studies, financial planning and various analyses by changing different drivers. The course materials are organized with several hand-on case studies to realize the concepts / terms mentioned above. After taking the course, the student is expected to handle creating and maintaining daily business related reports and analysis               

               

                        VBA and Access for Business Analysis                 

Objective: A lot of business scenario need to be performed repetitively; and some of them could be done even without human intervention – say, a scheduled work. Even given a small possibility, we will do our best to automate the business process with VBA Macro as much as we can to speed up the routine works - say the processes of data manipulation or report generation. MS-Access is one of the databases for small scale projects in practice. It has 4 major components to work on – Forms, Tables, Queries and Reports.  Tables are the core component where data is saved; Forms sit in the front end to interact with uses; Queries is one of the most important parts we need work on – it is where we retrieve information or update the database. Query has different views like query design, simple query and SQL

                 

                      Real Projects in Business Analysis               
Objective: By knowing Excel, VBA and Access, you could put a lot of bullets on your resume; but you are still not sure how to demonstrate a project that using these techniques during the interview - the missing puzzles are where, whenand how to work on a real world case. Within this course, we will start from requirement analysis, knowing most common processes, and working on some real cases.  By the end of the course, you will have several project summary reports in hands for both learning and interview purpose
