Marriage
One day, I was having the afternoon tea with four ladies from my company. I am not married, either do they. Among them, one is an English, one is a Chinese, another one is a French, and another yet is an American. We talked about man from which country they will marry to. French woman said first, "I will married a French for his romance." I agreed with her, French woman definately will marry a French man for his romance. English woman said then, "I will marry a French man for his romance or a Chinese man for his hard working and money." American woman said after, "I will marry a French man for his romance or an American man for his hard working, I don't want to marry for money." Chinese woman said the last. She siad, "I will marry a French man for his romance or marry a Chinese man or American man for his hard working and money." I generally did some simple accounting and said, "It seemed to me you are not marrying the man, but you are marrying to what the man does." |
