Usually, you can learn a lot from killer's course, such as Mark Lee and Laura. It is true. But, we want to graduate on time, and don't want to take the ESL course again and again, right? Except you are sure you are top 2 or at least top 5 students in their classes---If it is true, getting a good TOEFL (>240/590) score is much better and more practical choice than spending hundreds bucks and precious time on ESL courses before you apply Concordia, except for some departments don't recognize your TOEFL score.
So I said, it is better to aviod taking those killer's course, even you may drop it if you still have serval terms to go. Why not? waste time and money on those killers? What you get is much less than what you lose. (all the score records, no matter what you take in Concordia, will be printed on your transcript, and will follow you forever).
Preparing new TOEFL, IELTS or the essay test part you can learn more.
By the way, some killers maybe change after they gain more and more tecahing experience at Concordia. But when they change? be better or worse? who knows!
Be smart, guys. |
