以前一直是房东来取房租（支票），LEASE上也写明交房租的地点是我住的房子。去年换了房东，新房东让我把支票寄给他，我没同意，一是我没这个义务，二是如果寄丢了就是我欠交或晚交房租了。后来他寄给我一些贴好邮票和写明地址的信封，让我把支票寄给他，我照做了。

现在信封用完了，我打电话让房东再寄信封或上门取支票，房东不愿意，把电话挂了。现在我该怎么办？:confused: :confused:

Most landlords here prefer picking up their rental cheques in order to make sure that the tennant is still there and their place is still in proper condition. All it takes is just one quick glance.

Your new landlord could be lazy and/or think that u/Chinese are trust worthy, so he asked for the cheque in the mail. Don't u think u are creating hassle for nothing? . . terms on lease, stamped envelops . . Has it ever crossed your mind that he will just put all these "hassle costs" into your next rental increase?

Be nice to your landlord, a friend's landlord replaced his old fridge with new one, changed lights, etc. swiftly with no question asked and at no extra charge. How about calling up your landlord, confirm his address, mail the cheque and get this little incident over with?

p.s. if u use cheques, do check your bank statements that they are cashed. Any more question, call the Reige . . the rental board.
