how to get visa in Hongkong

I am going to Hongkong soon, but I heard I will need visa, if I want to go to China from Hongkong, cause I hold canadian passport.

How much is the visa cost in HK? where to get it and how long will it take? I think it's too late to get visa here.

Not necessary, even if this requirement exists, since you are canadian, you can get a landing visa in Hong Kong Airport, That's to say, once you land in Hong Kong, you pay the fees to the customs of Hong Kong, then he/she will give you a tourist visa.

I need goto mainland to Hongkong. That's why I need a visa... I will go back to Hongkong from mainland, I know I don't need visa for that, but there's big possibility for me go back to Mainland again from HK, because of some work related issue...

So, Do you have a canadian passport or not? if you do have it, as I've told you, it's not a problem, you can come and go Hong Kong freely (except some customs fees to pay); if you do not have a canadian passport (it's not shame to hold a China passport anyway), you'd better go to Chinese embassy for more information, and generally speaking , they will settle down the Visa for you within one day.

Oh, I forgot to tell you that the Chinese embassy is in Ottawa (somewhere on St-Patrick Street), 2-hour-drive from Montreal. And it's for sure that you will need a Visa to mainland of China since your passport is Canadian.

i know I can enter HK freely, since I already did that many times. All I asked is where in HK I can apply visa to enter Mainland and how long will that take...
