What is the lucky no. for you?  lots of 8? try to buy cell. phone from chinese dealers, they might have some so called lucky numbers reserved for their clients.  For local telephone line, you could pay for the service(as I remember it was $5), but only for last 4 numbers, since the first 3 numbers are the code which represent the district where you live, there is no way you could change it... dial 0 of your phone and ask the operator from Bell to help you.

到BELL可以指定电话号码（但是好像必须是在你这个区内的号码里选），缴费好像是70，或者90的，我记不清楚了。
