出了张机票，想改期，被告知不能该。如果退票连手续费带税要罚200多。请问是这么回事吗？

这儿不是挺讲消费者权益的嘛，怎么出张机票都没法改动了？

Because the air ticket you bought is from some travel agency, that means it is cheaper and so if you change the date, there are some charges. Even you bought directly from Air Canada, if you want to buy the ticket that can be changed free of charge, it will be much more expensive.

the problem is it's difficult to say what is "original price", it changes with season and other reasons, only thing you need to do is ask each time when you buy the ticket if it can be changed free of charge, usually if you want this option, they will charge you $50-$100 more.

原价票一般退改都不需要手续费，当然打折票也有可能。。。。无论买什么票，事先都需要确认是否可以免手续费退换。。。。
