Difficult to say what's wrong with your network. But two possible reasons:

1. D-LINK has firmware problem with their wireless router, a fix is to download their
last update.

2. The software you are running on your PC could be a cause, especially like eMule.

请问classic，你的TrendNet wireless router 是特价的那个（含有笔记本使用的网卡）吗？好象那个TrendNet wireless router 应该是802.11b的，而不是b&g的，是吗？谢谢

I bought a TrendNet wireless router ($19.99) from futureshop about two weeks ago. At first it did have some problems when I bt-downloaded. Then I updated two firmwares. After that, I never had any problems with the router. I can bt-download by the desktop pc. And the notebook can access the interenet and download (not bt-download) without any problem.
This router is 802.11b & g. The notebook has a TrendNet usb adapter of 802.11b. Maybe you guys can try them.

请问使用802。11b的网卡可以接收到802。11g路由的信息吗？也就是说用802。11b网卡的机器可以连接上802。11g的路由，并访问internet吗？谢谢

我的情况和你差不多，但是无线网卡的灯好像没有灭，一般在一两个小时以后就要掉线。我用无线连接linsys的路由器试过没有发生类似情况，所以我估计是bell提供的路由器有问题。

jasonyan，我无线网卡吊线后，无线网卡的指示灯都不亮了，重启计算机就又正常了，过一、两个小时又会吊线，但是偶尔一天也不掉一次，不知和你情况是否相似~如你所说是bell的modem的问题，那真是太坑人了~，我为此买的无线网卡，真冤！

觉得还是路由的问题, 试过好些牌子就linksys的最好. smc也还行. Netgear的是刷完之后才有改善. Dlink的就别提了. Hawking 的也是狂掉. 不知道这边的router怎么回事. 国内用个2线牌子tplink都没事, 这边怎么个个都掉. 郁闷呀.

今天在网上遍查帖子, 发现掉线和网卡兼容性, 路由, 信号干扰以及isp的稳定性都有关系. 很多帖子是关于信号干扰的. 在调整相应角度, 增加放大器或者天线之后有很大改善. 另外, 即时升级网卡的驱动也能解决部分问题, 当然很多人都知道的升级路由固件的办法. 总之, 无线掉线不是一个简单问题. 经过上午的查询, 偶现在不再对着路由生闷气了.
