thanks for your timely reply 宿睡未醒, the web site is in french, i can not read, anyway i can call them. btw, do you have any idea of the french class of university of montreal? i would like to check both these two schools and to find out which one is suitable for me, please give me some advise on this if possible, your kind help is highly appreciated.

I went to l'Université de Montréal months ago and they said those who take the French language course are not eligible for boursery.

I suggest that you go to uqam by person, they are giving placement tests these days. See if you can take it, for it seems necessary to register for the French courses there.

听前辈们讲，好像uqam的课程最好有相当法语基础再去上，否则会跟不上。我去咨询的时候，那个负责接待的中国人（姓张吧）也说每学期总是要开除许多人，就因为跟不上（这个应该没有理解错，因为他讲的是中文）。

不过，好像在考完分级考试以后，如果你相信自己跟得上（最好你的确是这么想的） ，那么你是可以选课的。（这也是听前辈们讲的，最好去亲自咨询一下。）

如果刚到这里，最好能够先学一下业余的法语班。听说有一些地方有每天四块钱可以拿。<a href=http://www.oqlf.gouv.qc.ca/francisation/ordres_prof/cours/guide_cfr_ls_03.pdf>这里是一个可以学习法语的学校名单</a>，供你参考。
