Premier Moisson is good, but try Gascogne, there is one on Laurier, check 411 for exact address.
They are both French pastries, more expensive but good quality. Gascogne is more expensive but their cakes are richer in taste, they are all good except the Charlotte which is a bit strong on the berries.
My favorite in Premier Moisson is a chocolate mousse cake decorate like a poncupine with a lot of spikes, hmmm, sinful chocolate rich but it is yum yum. It is also gluten free so perfect for those who are allergic to flour or wheat products.
Another place I strongly recomend with a very reasonable price is Adonis, which they sell pastries as well, the black forest is only $10, much better in quality and price compared to Chinatown, spongy and fruitful. |
