请教大家,我申请明年一月的Aerospace Master,最近收到了康大的信,不太确定学校是什么意思.请有经验的朋友给点意见.关于Graduate independent student 具体是怎样的.以后再如何申请正式的MASTER.谢谢!


The Faculty of Engineering and Computer Science has carefully assessed your  application and regret to inform you that you have not been accepted for  admission to the Master of Engineering (Aerospace) at Concordia  University.

Your application was not recommended for the following  reason(s):

On behalf of the Department of Aerospace, I regret to  inform you that you have not been accepted to the Master of/Magisteriate in  Engineering programme.

In arriving at this decision, the Faculty  has relied on the documentation submitted. Please note that decisions will not  be reconsidered unless additional documented evidence, having a direct bearing  on the applicant's academic background, is provided.

. It is strongly  recommended that you upgrade your academic qualifications as a graduate  independent student. You must take and successfully complete at least 2 graduate  courses and obtain a grade of "B" or better in each course. These courses are to  be taken in consultation of the Graduate Program Director.To open your file as a  graduate independent student, please download and fill out the form from the  following link and send it to me by mail:  http://graduatestudies.concordia.ca/pdf/forms/registration/auth_reg_independ.pdf

I am the graduate of this program. That means your qualification is not enough to be accepted into this program. But if you succefully complete 2 courses as independent student and get grades higher than B, you will be accepted.

Some of my friends finally got acceptance letter by this way. Go ahead and work hard on the courses.

非常感谢!还有一个事情想请教你,像我这样的情况该如何选课呢?可以申请LOAD AND BURSERY因为我没有找导师,是不是要专门找系里的ADVISOR?再有这样选课的话,你认为选什么样的课对于我们中国人来说比较容易些,是不是这个专业的课程非常难?我原来的专业是机械设计与自动化.谢谢!

If you don't have background in aerospace, quit the program and transfer to mechanical engineering. I never see a person can find a job in this area without aerospace experience. Don't waste your time on that.

With your background of 机械设计与自动化, you should apply for M.Eng(course option) in mechnical engineering focusing on this area. You can also try to contact a Professor to be your boss(Thesis option).

If you don't have background in aerospace, quit the program and transfer to mechanical engineering. I never see a person can find a job in this area without aerospace experience. Don't waste your time on that.

With your background of 机械设计与自动化, you should apply for M.Eng(course option) in mechnical engineering focusing on this area. You can also try to contact a Professor to be your boss(Thesis option).
