I heard if you have two credit card and you can have two free section of AOL (eg. three months and
another three months)  Is it true?  Is AOL based on phone number or credit card number when you register for three month free internet ?

GOOD QUESTION。I had the free servie of AOL last year,after which I paid two months and then cancelled. At that time,I used version 6.0 and now they send me version 7.0. I wonder if I can have another three months of free connection. If so,we can use at least three months of AOL for free considering that normally a new version comes out every year.
Then how can they make profit?
I am also curious about the 2-credit-card question. I guess it is based on one's identity,i.e.name/birth date,but not on ph.no.. So if,say,you use someone else's credit card and same ph.no.,it is ok.
Anyway,you can call toll-free no. of AOL to check it out. At the moment I don't want to use it so I don't want to call.

AOL is ok to surf the net,for China sites even faster than bell smptica.
But it is quite slower to download than b smp., as you know,it use dial-up with telephone line.
Nevertheless,it is cheaper and you can cancel it after three months' free unlimited connection.
So what can your expect from it?

I called AOL custom service to cancel the internet account. To my surprise, the manager gave me extra two months free membership commencing from the expiration of three-month free trial membership.     Anyway, he told me that I can concel AOL service again anytime, guaranteed.
The cancellation number is 1-888-2656308. Not too many people know this number. You do not to wait on line anymore!

yeah...I used to use AOL for three months, and I found it is really a great company. Although the software is wire for me, I still like it. If I need to travel for business, I won't miss this service.
