I received a letter from Canada Revenue Agency yesterday. it says that I am not eligible for the GST?HST credit for July 2006 to April 2007 because I am not living in Canada during that period. Therefore the government wants me to pay back the money $232.00 with an enclosed check.
I am now in china, how can I do with this? I don't know why they ask me to pay back money, because I didn't receive any tax return for 2006....

pls tell me how to deal with it, thanks a lot......

Confusing message. Must see original file to figure it out. You'd better repay the $232 ASAP. If the gouv. is wrong, you get refund on a later date, if not, you get interest charged. Good luck.;)

别人开当然可以，因为税局只认钱，而不认到底是谁付的钱，关键是随支票付上税局正式通知上的副联，以让税局知道，这笔钱是付到你在税局的帐上的。

可以用信用卡付吗？给他把税局正式通知上的副联和我的信用卡号码一起寄过去可以吗？

as I know, you can pay by personal check, or your friends' personal check.
credit card is not accepted.

by the way, how can the government know, "I am not living in Canada during that period. "  - did you tell them?

不知道你的开户银行是哪个。你可以通过网上银行付帐给税务局，无论你在哪里，只要你能上网就行。
