I applied Bell's long distance service Last year at the rate $0.17/per minute to China. But you know what happend, when I got my bill statement. I found the rate has been changed to $0.25 per minute to China. I phoned the Bell asked them Why they did not inform their custumer of that the rate has been changed to a new rate. You guess What was their answer. Their answer was:"We have millions customer, so we can not inform each customer off therate change", They said "we put such information on the back of the second page of your bill in small case".

I asked them, why they did not put such importmant infomation on the first page in blad font". Their answer was "Yes, the info was in very samll case, but customers should read through all information on the three-page bill, even though the information was written in very small case".

Now you can know what is BELL Canada's tricks to fool their customer.
I lost $140 just in two months.
So bad, Bell Canada, Bell Canada is the worst telecom Company in Canada. I will never use this company's service.

i had a same experience as your's. the only difference is that i paid almost $100 in one month for my long distance call.  :mad: :mad:

next month, i only used telephone card for long distance call. but bell still charged me about $7 for connection fee(including tax).  :mad:

so i cancelled my long distance call this month.  :cool: :cool:

I used Bell''s long distnace for 4 months. Totally Bell has billed me around $700. $140 is just the extra money tricked by Bell over the payment it should be at the rate $0.17/minute.

Let us discuss Bell's service and find a way to get things done.

You should complain to the manager and refuse to pay that money! And you must let them know you will not give up till you get the right result. Do not be afraid to complain with them. Only in this way, you can get your money back. I did this when bell charged some service that was unfair last year.After 1 hours quarrelling with bell, I got my money back. Good luck.

我也一直用BELL的长途服务FirsRate Oversea, 从二月十九日起, 他的资费又降到14CENT/MIN. 这个PLAN 的资费其实是一直变的,不过每次调整都会在最近的帐单提前通知. 受到帐单后,留意第二页Information 栏的信息. 觉得贵了就换公司,之后他们还会请你回来. 销售人员报的费率都是当前的.
