有关利息收入的问题

我是2002年8月登陆的，银行没给我单子，说是低于50加元不给了。但我看报税表上说即使少于50加元也要报。现在我有两个问题：

1，因为每个月都有消费，活期的利息跟本搞不清，
2，定期的一年没到，而且是我和我丈夫的联名户头，

这样的情况我该怎么办？

你今年不用报利息收入。因为活期的利息没有多少，银行根本不会给你 T5 的，所以不用报。你定期的存款到今年年八月才满一年，它的利息应在 2004 年报税时申报，有关它的 T5 要到明年的二，三月间才会收到。 :p

hi, how about if i have fixed-deposit in outside canada? The bank wont give me any form, how do i know how much the interest will be? plus i didnt stay in canada for whole year.
Do i have to fill in this part? What will happen if i dont claim this part?

If you receive T5, you should report interest tax. no T5, no interest tax
