Hi, I’m a real fan (read fanatic) of Chinese food. I don’t want to have to go to restaurant to eat Chinese food so I decided to try and do it at home.
I faced some problems   first, I feel I’m missing the basics (cooking technique, cutting, ingredients), then, I feel I don’t have good references and ideas of what to cook. For me, the best way to learn would be to see someone do it.
So here’s the question. Is there a place or someone that would be willing to teach me?  I open to any suggestion or ideas. I have books but I would definitively prefer to see it “live”, at least to get me started.
Oh, by the way, I’m also learning Chinese and I can definitively help you with your English or French if you need it. Maybe we could use this as a topic for language exchange?
You can write me here: gabrielberard @ hot mail.com

You can subscribe to Cable TV's Food network channel, very good Chinese cooking video program, or visit www.foodtv.ca  or www.foodtv.com for recipes
