1. Buying from commercial car dealer is different from buying private...
2. Most delalers settle the registration by themselves, new car or old, just because it's such an easy job for them. They probably don't have the patience to go with you.
3. Actually Carfax might have more, as SAAQ only have the Quebec part of info.
4. It's buyer's responsibility to get car insurance unless the car will not be driven. i.e. as a collection/show item.
Unless a dealer is close to bankrupcy, it's unlikely it would risk selling stolen cars.
Simply because the dealer cannot get away with such actions. |
