正在准备买车的当口，居然收到McGill的offer，打算八月初移居蒙特利尔，在此请教各位几个问题：
1 总体二手车价哪边会比较便宜？论二手车的选择余地，应该是多伦多比较大吧，是吗？
2 如果在多伦多买车，到了蒙城是否要换汽车牌照和保险公司？
3 如果在蒙城买车，那我在多伦多取得的全科证书和Monex团体保险优惠是否仍然适用？
4 如果在蒙城买车，是否要等驾照换下来才能进行？

Should be cheaper here, friends told me. But less Chinese here. You need someone help you. Find a good car is difficult than find a cheap car.

There is temporary license plate could apply from Toronto, please check with them, then you could drive to Montreal with that temporary license plate. Get insurance for formal license plate need time and money.
3 如果在蒙城买车，那我在多伦多取得的全科证书和Monex团体保险优惠是否仍然适用？
Driving school certification not useful, if you already have 3 years driving experience.
No Monex here. No CAA promotion price!
4 如果在蒙城买车，是否要等驾照换下来才能进行？
Not neccessary. You could use your Ontario License to buy. But if you had stayed in Ontario for 6 month ( must proof to SAAQ), your G2 or G could convert to local license here. You could drive legally here for at least 3 month. But hard to get insurance quote with your Ontario license.

According to my experience, you need do a auto examin and you pass it, you can
change your Ontario plate to Quebec plate. However, if your car is not good enough, they will always find some problems on your car, they give you a detail and long list. You need fix it first, this will spend some money. I spent 1400 C$ to fix my car in canadian tire and then they say OK. If you buy a Quebec car, you don't need to do the examin. Think about it and have a good luck.
